    What does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers project setup and calendars, building the work breakdown structure, task dependencies and the critical path, work, material and cost resources, baselines, progress tracking and built-in reports, all with hands-on exercises.

    What does the Advanced level cover?

    Advanced covers task types and advanced scheduling, resource pools and levelling, cost management and Earned Value, custom fields, views and reports, master projects and cross-project links, and what-if scenario planning with multiple baselines.

    Is the training hands-on?

    Yes. Both levels are delivered with live Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios. You follow along in the software as the trainer demonstrates each feature, so you build proficiency through practice.

    Which version of Microsoft Project is used?

    Training focuses on the current desktop version of Microsoft Project, with an overview of Project Online and Microsoft 365 integration such as Excel, SharePoint and Teams. Confirm the exact software setup when you enrol.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive structured courseware, practical exercises, downloadable templates and reference guides that map to each module, so you can revise and apply the techniques at work after the training.

    Assessment

    Is there an exam for the Microsoft Project course?

    No. This is a non-certification skills course with no exam at either level. Learning is reinforced entirely through hands-on Microsoft Project exercises throughout the programme.

    Do I receive a certificate after the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. It recognises the practical Microsoft Project skills you have built, which you can apply immediately at work.

    How is my learning assessed?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise on realistic project scenarios throughout the course, building and controlling real plans in the software so the skills transfer directly to your own projects.

    How long is each level of the training?

    Fundamentals is delivered over 2 days (16 hours total) and Advanced over 3 days (24 hours total). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats. Ask about current scheduling options.

    Do I need Microsoft Project installed before attending?

    Yes. You should have Microsoft Project installed and accessible on your device before the training so you can follow the hands-on exercises. Check whether a trial licence is provided as part of your enrolment.
