    What is the CAPM certification and who is it for?

    The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is PMI's entry-level credential proving you understand the fundamentals, terminology and processes of project management. It is designed for students, recent graduates, career changers and project team members with limited or no project experience.

    Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

    No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary degree (high school diploma or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides in full.

    Is the CAPM recognised in Ukraine?

    Yes. CAPM is a PMI credential recognised globally across more than 200 countries, including by IT services, engineering, banking and public-sector employers in Ukraine who value a credible signal of foundational project management knowledge.

    How long is the CAPM certification valid?

    CAPM is valid for three years from the date of certification. Unlike PMP, it is renewed by retaking and passing the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle, rather than by earning PDUs.

    What is included in the CAPM training fee?

    The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, learner support and a course completion certificate with 24 contact hours. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI. Request a quote for current pricing in Ukraine.

    How much does the CAPM exam cost?

    PMI bills the CAPM exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, with members paying less than non-members. PMI membership also gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and Agile Practice Guide. Confirm current fees on pmi.org before applying.

    Is the exam fee included in the training price?

    No. The PMI exam fee is paid separately to PMI and is not part of the training fee. The training itself satisfies the 23-hour education requirement you need before you can sit the exam.

    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%) and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%). It is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. The exam is closed book and includes single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

    Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so aim for broad mastery across all four CAPM domains rather than a target percentage.

    Where and how do I take the CAPM exam?

    You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through the Pearson VUE website or PMI's portal within your one-year eligibility period.

    What if I do not pass the exam on the first try?

    PMI permits up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions mapped to the four domains to help you prepare thoroughly and sit the exam with confidence.
