    JIRA training is a practical, instructor-led course that teaches you to use Jira, Atlassian's Agile project management and issue tracking platform, to plan, track and deliver work. It suits developers, testers, Scrum Masters, business analysts, project managers and Jira administrators.

    Is Jira worth learning in Tanzania?

    Yes. Jira is the default Agile delivery tool for software, fintech, banking and telecom teams across Tanzania, so confident Jira users are in demand. The skills apply directly on the job from your first day back at work.

    Do I get a certificate after the training?

    Yes. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no exam. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning that evidences your Jira training and the practical skills you built.

    Should I take Fundamentals or Advanced?

    Take Fundamentals (2 days) if you are new to Jira or use it occasionally and want core skills in projects, boards, sprints and reporting. Take Advanced (3 days) if you already use Jira and want workflows, schemes, automation, integrations and administration.

    Do I need prior experience to start?

    For Fundamentals, no. Basic familiarity with web applications is enough. For Advanced, you should have completed Fundamentals or have hands-on Jira experience, as it covers configuration and administration in depth.

    How much does JIRA training cost in Tanzania?

    Fees vary by level, delivery format and group size, so pricing is available on request. Fundamentals runs over 2 days and Advanced over 3 days, in live virtual, classroom or corporate formats. Request a quote for current pricing that fits your needs.

    What is included in the course fee?

    The fee includes instructor-led training, hands-on Jira exercises, structured courseware and learning resources, learner support, and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Talk to a learning advisor for the full inclusions.

    Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

    Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for software, IT and business teams. It is ideal for training a whole delivery squad together. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    Are there any additional software costs?

    Jira Cloud offers a free tier for up to 10 users, which is enough for hands-on practice. Paid Jira plans and Jira Data Center are commercial Atlassian products. Confirm whether a shared training environment is provided when you enrol.

    What payment options are available?

    We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you or your team.

    Assessment

    Is there an exam for JIRA training?

    No. Neither Fundamentals nor Advanced has an exam. Both are practical skills courses, so learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Jira exercises throughout each programme rather than a test.

    How is my learning assessed?

    There is no formal assessment. You practise every concept in a live Jira environment using realistic delivery scenarios, so you build proficiency as you go and can apply it immediately at work.

    What do I receive on completion?

    You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you completed the training and built practical Jira skills; it is not an external certification, as this course does not have one.

    Will this make me a certified Jira professional?

    This is a skills training course, not a certification, so it does not award a formal Jira credential. What it gives you is hands-on capability to run Agile delivery in Jira that employers value directly.

    Do the skills expire or need renewal?

    No. The Jira skills you build do not expire and need no renewal. They stay current as you apply them, and you can progress from Fundamentals to Advanced when you are ready for configuration and administration.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers Jira navigation, project types, the epic, story, task, bug and subtask hierarchy, issue management, Scrum and Kanban boards, sprints and backlogs, roadmaps and versions, filters, basic JQL, and Agile reports such as velocity and burndown.

    What does the Advanced level cover?

    Advanced covers custom workflows with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission, notification, screen and field schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira Automation, DevOps and Atlassian integrations, and Jira administration.

    Which version of Jira is used in the training?

    Training focuses on Jira Software and is delivered using Jira Cloud, with Data Center concepts covered where relevant. You practise in a live Jira environment throughout, so the skills transfer straight to your workplace instance.

    Are the sessions hands-on?

    Yes. Both levels are exercise-led. The trainer demonstrates each feature and you follow along in Jira using realistic Agile delivery scenarios, so you learn by doing rather than by watching slides.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You get structured courseware, guided exercises and reference materials mapped to each module, so you can revise the concepts and reuse them on your own projects after the training.
