Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 Agile is a combined qualification that blends the PRINCE2 project governance framework with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and Kanban. Governed by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert, the combined course covers both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, so you can govern projects while delivering iteratively.

    General

What is the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner certification?

PRINCE2 Agile is a combined qualification that blends the PRINCE2 project governance framework with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and Kanban. Governed by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert, the combined course covers both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, so you can govern projects while delivering iteratively.

Who should take PRINCE2 Agile training in Rwanda?

It suits project managers, Scrum Masters, PRINCE2 holders, delivery leads and consultants working in hybrid environments. In Rwanda it is especially valuable for professionals in banking, telecom, ICT and government digital services who need to combine governance with agile delivery.

Is PRINCE2 Agile recognised in Rwanda?

Yes. PRINCE2 Agile is a globally recognised credential available in over 200 countries and valued by employers in Rwanda, including banks, telecoms, ICT firms and public agencies running hybrid digital projects. It is published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

What is the difference between the Foundation and Practitioner levels?

Foundation tests your knowledge and comprehension of PRINCE2 Agile through a closed-book exam. Practitioner tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile in real scenarios through an open-book exam. The combined course prepares you for both.

Is PRINCE2 Agile worth it for my career in Rwanda?

Yes. As Rwanda scales digital government, banking transformation and its ICT ecosystem under Vision 2050, employers increasingly seek certified hybrid delivery leaders. Certified project managers in Rwanda average around RWF 10.5M a year, with senior roles higher. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Agile training cost in Rwanda?

Fees vary by format and schedule, so pricing is available on request. The training fee is separate from the two PeopleCert exam fees, which are billed by PeopleCert. Request a quote for current pricing and any group offers.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited courseware, practice questions, mock exams, open-book technique coaching, learner support and a course completion certificate. Exam vouchers may be bundled depending on the package you choose.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

This depends on the package. Some options bundle the two PeopleCert exam vouchers, while others quote training only. Confirm what is included when you request your quote, and we will set out the exact inclusions.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and departments in Rwanda. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and lasts 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 60%, which means 24 out of 40 correct. It is delivered online with PeopleCert proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions and lasts 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted, and the pass mark is 60%, which means 30 out of 50 correct.

What are the prerequisites for the exams?

Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent. The combined course prepares you to sit both exams in sequence.

What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can retake the exam through PeopleCert; re-sit fees apply. Our preparation includes mock exams, scenario practice and open-book technique coaching to help you sit each exam with confidence. Ask us about retake support options.

How long is the certification valid?

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification is valid for three years. You can renew it by retaking the exam, by completing continuing professional development, or by achieving a higher-level qualification, as specified by PeopleCert.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 Agile course cover?

The course covers the agile mindset, blending PRINCE2 with agile, the five targets for agile, the PRINCE2 Agile hexagon, agile roles, risk and change, progress tracking, value-driven delivery, and tailoring PRINCE2 Agile to real project scenarios for the Practitioner level.

Do I need prior PRINCE2 or agile experience?

No prior experience is required for the Foundation level. Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps but is not mandatory. The training builds concepts from the ground up, so beginners and experienced practitioners are both well supported.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 Agile syllabus published by PeopleCert and AXELOS, covering both the Foundation and Practitioner examinations.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive accredited courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, scenario exercises, quizzes and reference materials for both levels, plus guidance on navigating the PRINCE2 Agile publication for the open-book Practitioner exam.

How is the training delivered and how long is it?

The combined programme is typically delivered over four days, totalling around 32 hours, covering Foundation content first and Practitioner content second. It is available as live online (virtual) instructor-led training, classroom, or corporate group training.
