    It suits project managers, team leaders, business analysts, testers and delivery professionals who want a recognised agile credential. It also complements PRINCE2 and Scrum, adding a project-level governance layer around agile delivery.

    Do I need experience before starting AgilePM Foundation?

    No. AgilePM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must first hold AgilePM Foundation or an accepted equivalent.

    Yes. AgilePM is recognised in over 150 countries and is especially valued where structured project governance is required alongside agile delivery, making it portable across sectors and regions.

    How many exams are in the AgilePM combined programme?

    There are two separate exams. The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each (60 total) in 2 hours, open book, with a 50% pass mark (30 out of 60). You must pass both to hold both credentials.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    The AgilePM Handbook is permitted during the Practitioner exam. The four scenario questions still require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient handbook navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

    What is the passing score for each AgilePM exam?

    Both exams require 50% to pass. Foundation needs 25 out of 50 correct, and Practitioner needs 30 out of 60 marks across its four scenario-based questions.

    Which standard are the AgilePM exams based on?

    The exams are aligned to the official AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook published by the Agile Business Consortium.

    What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

    You can re-sit the exam you did not pass. Our trainers provide practice questions, mock exams and first-attempt guidance to prepare you thoroughly. Ask us about the current re-sit policy for your package.

    Course Content

    What topics does the AgilePM training cover?

    The programme covers the eight AgilePM principles, the six-phase lifecycle and management products, the business, technical and management roles, MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and quality, and planning, control and risk, all at Foundation and Practitioner level.

    How is the AgilePM programme structured?

    It is a five-day, 40-hour combined programme. Foundation content is typically covered first, followed by Practitioner content and exam preparation, so you build knowledge before learning to apply and tailor the framework.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams, plus case studies, to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness before you sit either exam.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest AgilePM standard?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook and the official AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    Will I get a certificate after the training?

    On passing each exam you receive the official AgilePM digital certificate for that level from the Agile Business Consortium. Invensis Learning also provides training support and materials throughout the programme.
