    Do I need any prior experience or prerequisites?

    No. There are no prerequisites. The course is built for a general audience and assumes no background in quality management, statistics or Six Sigma. It is accessible to anyone in any role or industry.

    How is awareness training different from Green Belt training?

    Awareness training is an introductory, one-day overview for the whole organization and does not qualify you to lead projects. Green Belt and Black Belt programs are practitioner courses for those who will run DMAIC projects. Awareness is the ideal first step before them.

    Is there an exam for Six Sigma Awareness Training?

    No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through interactive discussion, real-world case examples and team exercises during the one-day program.

    How is learning assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, interactive discussions and team exercises throughout the day let you apply Six Sigma concepts to your own work context, so understanding is built practically rather than tested.

    Do I receive a certificate after completing the course?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you complete the one-day program. It recognizes your participation; it is not an external certification, as this is an awareness course.

    Will this course make me a certified Green Belt?

    No. Awareness training does not award a belt or qualify you to lead DMAIC projects. If you want to become a practitioner, progress to Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt training after building your foundation here.

    What will I be able to do after completing the training?

    You will be able to understand what Six Sigma is, use its vocabulary in meetings, follow the five DMAIC phases, recognize the Six Sigma roles, support project teams, and understand Lean Six Sigma as the combined improvement approach.

    What topics does the Six Sigma awareness course cover?

    The course covers six areas: the Six Sigma philosophy and business case, key concepts and terminology, the DMAIC methodology, Six Sigma roles and structure, an awareness-level introduction to key tools, and Lean Six Sigma in practice, all in a single day.

    What is DMAIC and is it covered?

    Yes. DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) is the core Six Sigma roadmap for improving existing processes, and the course walks through all five phases at awareness level so you understand what happens in each.

    Which Six Sigma tools will I learn about?

    You gain awareness of tools such as SIPOC, fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, Pareto charts, control charts and process capability. You will understand what each tool does within a project, without needing practitioner-level depth.

    Does the course cover Lean Six Sigma?

    Yes. The course explains Lean Six Sigma as the combination of Lean waste elimination with Six Sigma variation reduction, and how Lean tools complement the DMAIC methodology in modern improvement programs.

    Do beginners need any statistical background?

    No. The course is designed for a general audience and explains concepts such as variation, DPMO and Critical to Quality in plain language, so beginners with no statistics background can follow along comfortably.
