Is the exam fee included in the training price?

What is the format of the PfMP exam?

The PfMP exam is a computer-based, closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition. It uses scenario and situational questions across five performance domains.

How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

The PfMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). Alongside the written exam, all candidates must also pass the subject-matter-expert panel review to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PfMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all five performance domains rather than a target percentage.

Which standard is the PfMP exam based on?

The exam is based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the 4th edition of PMI's Standard for Portfolio Management. It covers Strategic Alignment (25%), Governance (20%), Portfolio Performance (25%), Portfolio Risk Management (14%) and Communications Management (16%).

How do I schedule the exam, and what if I do not pass?

After your application is approved and you clear the panel review, schedule the exam through Pearson VUE, either at a test centre or via OnVUE online proctoring, within your one-year eligibility period. PMI allows up to three attempts within that window.

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness before you sit the PfMP exam.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PfMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PfMP Examination Content Outline and PMI's Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition, so you study the content the exam actually tests.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours earned through the programme, which also count toward your PMI application.

What are the eligibility requirements to sit the PfMP exam?

PMI requires a secondary or four-year degree, at least 120 months (10 years) of professional business experience within the last 15 years, portfolio management experience, and a subject-matter-expert panel review. Anyone can enrol in the training itself.

How do I enrol in the PfMP course?
