    It suits software developers, testers, Scrum Masters, project managers, business analysts, DevOps engineers and Jira administrators. Anyone who manages projects, tracks issues or configures Jira for a team will benefit, from complete beginners to experienced users moving into administration.

    Is Jira training worth it?

    Yes. Jira is the standard delivery tool across Lithuania's fintech, product and global business services sectors, so confident Jira skills are in real demand. You leave able to run boards, sprints and reporting, capability employers value and you use every day.

    Do I need prior experience to attend?

    Not for Fundamentals. It is designed for people new to Jira, and basic familiarity with Agile concepts is helpful but not required. The Advanced course expects that you have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience.

    Which Jira platform does the course use?

    Training uses the current Jira Cloud platform, the primary way teams run Jira today. The concepts and configuration also apply to Jira Data Center, so the skills transfer whichever deployment your organisation uses.

    What is included in the course fee?

    Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

    Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for engineering teams, PMOs and whole delivery organisations. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

    Are there separate Jira software costs?

    The training fee is separate from Jira licensing. Jira Cloud offers a free tier for up to 10 users, which is enough for hands-on practice, while paid Jira Cloud plans and Jira Data Center are commercial products from Atlassian.

    Is there an exam for Jira training?

    No. This is a non-certification course with no exam at either level. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Jira exercises throughout, and you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning on finishing the programme.

    Do I receive a certificate after the course?

    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. It confirms you completed the training and is not a formal certification, as Jira training does not have an awarding body or credential exam.

    How is my learning assessed?

    There is no formal test. You build and demonstrate proficiency through hands-on exercises and configuration activities during the sessions, such as creating boards, running sprints, writing JQL and building workflows.

    How long is each level of Jira training?

    Fundamentals runs over 2 days (16 hours) and Advanced over 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats, so you can pick the schedule that fits your team.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    After Fundamentals you can create projects, manage issues, run Scrum and Kanban boards and read Agile reports. After Advanced you can design workflows and schemes, write advanced JQL, build automation, integrate tools and administer a Jira instance.

    Course Content

    What does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers Jira navigation, creating projects, the Epic, Story, Task and Bug hierarchy, Scrum boards and sprint management, Kanban boards and WIP limits, roadmaps and versions, filters, basic JQL, and Agile reports such as velocity and burndown.

    What does the Advanced level cover?

    Advanced covers custom workflow design with conditions, validators and post-functions, permission and notification schemes, custom fields, advanced JQL, dashboards, Jira automation, integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket and CI/CD, and Jira administration.

    Do I need Jira access during the training?

    Yes. You should have access to a Jira environment to follow the hands-on exercises. Jira Cloud offers a free trial, and you can confirm whether a shared training environment is provided when you enquire.

    Is the training practical or theory-based?

    It is highly practical. You follow live demonstrations and configure real projects, boards, workflows and reports yourself throughout both levels, using realistic Agile delivery scenarios so the skills stick.

    Does the course cover JQL and automation?

    Yes. Fundamentals introduces saved filters and basic JQL. Advanced goes deeper into JQL functions and the CHANGED and WAS operators, and teaches Jira automation, building triggers, conditions and actions with smart values.

    What training formats are available?
