Who should take PMI-CP certification training in Lithuania?

PMI-CP suits construction project managers, site managers, project engineers, owner's representatives and construction consultants who want a globally recognised construction project management credential. It is ideal for professionals working on Lithuania's transport, energy, defence and building projects.

Is the PMI-CP recognised in Lithuania?

Yes. As a PMI credential, PMI-CP carries recognition through PMI's network in over 200 countries. It is valued by Lithuanian contractors and international employers delivering complex construction and infrastructure programmes such as Rail Baltica.

Is PMP required before PMI-CP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite for PMI-CP. You can apply based on your construction project management experience and education. The two credentials are complementary, as PMP covers general project management while PMI-CP validates construction-specific expertise.

How long is the PMI-CP certification valid?

PMI-CP is valid for three years from the date of certification. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements programme, with at least 8 PDUs in each Talent Triangle area.

What is included in the PMI-CP training fee?

How much does the PMI-CP exam cost?

PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, it is around USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members, and PMI membership is about USD 139 per year. Verify current fees at pmi.org before applying.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. The PMI-CP exam fee is paid separately to PMI and is not part of the training fee. PMI membership can reduce the exam cost and gives access to PMI resources. Talk to a learning advisor about how the training and exam costs fit together.

What is the format of the PMI-CP exam?

The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions to be completed in 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PMI-CP exam domains and their weights?

There are four domains per the official ECO: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%), and Project Governance (5%). Contracts Management is the largest, reflecting the centrality of contracts in construction delivery.

What standard is the PMI-CP exam based on?

The exam is based on the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline (ECO), together with the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and construction industry-specific standards and practices. Our courseware is mapped to the current ECO and the 8th edition.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-CP exam?

You must complete all four mandatory self-paced modules, plus one of three experience sets: Set A (secondary diploma, 60 months construction PM experience), Set B (bachelor's degree, 36 months), or Set C (GAC-accredited degree, 24 months). All sets require 35 contact hours of PM education.

What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback (Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement), so aim for broad mastery across all four domains.

What happens if I do not pass the exam the first time?

You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions and mock assessments are designed to help you prepare thoroughly for your first sitting.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock assessments mapped to the 120-question, 230-minute PMI-CP format, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMI-CP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, so you study to the standard the exam actually tests.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours earned, which count toward the 35 contact hours of PM education needed for PMI-CP eligibility.
