Industry Challenges Driving PfMP Demand in Lithuania

    Governance Maturity Gap

Lithuania's fast-scaling fintechs and GBS centres run many concurrent programmes, yet many lack a strategy-aligned portfolio governance layer, the exact gap PfMP is built to close.

PfMP builds strategic alignment and governance skills

    Strategy-Execution Gap

Boards fund digital and regulatory programmes, but weak links between strategy and the funded project mix cause value leakage that certified portfolio leaders are hired to fix.

PfMP builds prioritisation and value-realisation skills

    Fintech Scale-Up Complexity

As 270+ fintechs shift from launch to scale, leaders must prioritise and balance competing product, compliance and growth investments across a maturing portfolio.

PfMP builds portfolio balancing and optimisation skills

    Portfolio Talent Scarcity

Lithuania's talent pool is deep in project managers but thin in credentialed portfolio leaders. PfMP's advanced eligibility and panel review make holders rare and sought-after.

PfMP makes certified portfolio leaders stand out

    Regulatory and Capital Pressure

Tighter EU financial supervision and capital discipline push banks and fintechs to optimise the portfolio, retiring low-value work and rebalancing to strategy.

PfMP builds portfolio risk and oversight skills

    Cross-Border Delivery at Scale

GBS centres deliver for global parents across time zones, demanding portfolio-grade prioritisation, risk aggregation and coordination that certified leaders provide.

How to Get PfMP Certified in LithuaniaStep-by-Step Certification Process

The PfMP certification path in Lithuania is the most senior on the PMI credential ladder. It centres on PMI's peer-panel review of your portfolio management experience, followed by a 170-question, 240-minute scenario-based exam administered through Pearson VUE. Exam

What is the format of the PfMP exam?

The PfMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition. It uses scenario-based questions across five performance domains.

How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

The PfMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is delivered online proctored through Pearson VUE OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PfMP exam domains and their weights?

Five domains: Strategic Alignment (25 percent), Governance (20 percent), Portfolio Performance (25 percent), Portfolio Risk Management (14 percent) and Communications Management (16 percent).

What is the passing score for the PfMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, and performance is reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What is the PfMP panel review and what if I do not pass?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment where portfolio practitioners evaluate your documented experience; you must pass it and the written exam. You get up to three exam attempts within your one-year eligibility period, and our training and mocks prepare you for a first-time pass.

    Course Content

Can I take PfMP training without senior experience?

Anyone can attend the training, which builds portfolio governance knowledge and exam readiness. To sit the PfMP exam, PMI requires substantial business and portfolio experience, so the course also guides you through eligibility and the application process.

What topics does the PfMP training cover?

The training covers the five PfMP domains: Strategic Alignment (25 percent), Governance (20 percent), Portfolio Performance (25 percent), Portfolio Risk Management (14 percent) and Communications Management (16 percent), plus the application, panel review and exam strategy.

Is the courseware aligned to the current PfMP standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to PMI's Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition, and the current PfMP Examination Content Outline.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PfMP ECO and Handbook, a Standard for Portfolio Management overview, portfolio management templates, flashcards and chapter-wise quizzes.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol on the Invensis Learning website, choose live virtual or classroom training, complete payment and receive access to schedules and courseware. See upcoming batches or talk to an advisor to begin.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or move to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.
