Kazakhstan has many project practitioners but few holding a recognised method credential, making PRINCE2-certified professionals rare and sought-after by employers.

PRINCE2 makes certified professionals stand out

    Multinational Standards Expectation

International operators and investors in Kazakhstan expect delivery to recognised frameworks, and the PRINCE2 method is widely accepted across these organisations.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured, globally recognised project management method covering seven principles, seven practices and seven processes. This course covers the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert, which owns AXELOS.

    General

What is PRINCE2 and which edition does this course cover?

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured, globally recognised project management method covering seven principles, seven practices and seven processes. This course covers the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert, which owns AXELOS.

Who is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course for?

It suits aspiring and practising project managers, team members in PRINCE2 environments, IT and delivery professionals, business analysts, and PMP or CAPM holders working in markets where PRINCE2 is preferred. Foundation needs no prior experience, so beginners are welcome.

Is PRINCE2 certification worth it in Kazakhstan?

Yes. PRINCE2 is valued by oil and gas, banking, IT and government employers in Kazakhstan, where project roles pay well above the national average. Certified professionals stand out for structured delivery capability. Talk to a learning advisor about your goals.

What is the difference between Foundation and Practitioner?

Foundation tests your knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2 method and is closed book. Practitioner tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to real project scenarios and is open book, using the PRINCE2 manual. You take both to hold both credentials.

How long is the PRINCE2 certification valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. You renew by earning 60 CPD points, by re-sitting the exam, or by passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification. Confirm current renewal options at peoplecert.org.

Do I need Foundation before taking Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is a prerequisite for Practitioner. PeopleCert also accepts certain equivalents such as PMP, CAPM and IPMA levels. The combined programme covers both levels in sequence, so you progress straight from one to the other.

    Pricing

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The training fee typically includes PeopleCert-aligned courseware, trainer-led sessions, practice questions, mock exams, quizzes and learner support, plus guidance for both exams. Ask a learning advisor for a full inclusions list for your chosen format.

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Kazakhstan?

Training pricing depends on the format you choose, such as live online, classroom or corporate group training, and is available on request. The two PeopleCert exam fees are billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

PeopleCert bills the Foundation and Practitioner exam fees separately under regional pricing, so they may be quoted apart from the training fee. Your advisor can confirm whether exam vouchers are bundled in your selected package.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project offices, delivery teams and departments across Kazakhstan. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

What payment methods and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book. The passing score is 60%, which is 36 of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted. The passing score is 60%, which is 42 of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

Where and how do I take the PRINCE2 exams?

Both exams are delivered online via the PeopleCert OnVUE online proctored system, available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. They are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of your programme.

Which standard are the exams based on?

Both exams are based on the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses, aligned to the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual, 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit the exam, and our preparation, mock tests and trainer guidance are designed to build first-attempt confidence. Re-sit fees and policy are set by PeopleCert, so confirm the current terms at peoplecert.org before you book.

    Course Content

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No. PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, so the course is beginner-friendly. Practitioner requires Foundation first, and the combined programme covers both levels in sequence with full support.

What topics does the PRINCE2 training cover?

The training covers the seven principles, the People capability, the seven practices (business case, organising, plans, quality, risk, issues and progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and Practitioner application areas such as sustainability and communication.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive PeopleCert-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, quizzes, flashcards and reference materials mapped to the PRINCE2 7 syllabuses, so you can revise with confidence and track your readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PRINCE2 syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) and the PeopleCert Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses, including the People capability and the renamed practices introduced in the 7th edition.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes for both levels, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness for the closed-book Foundation and open-book Practitioner exams.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol on the Invensis Learning website, choose your format, complete payment and get access to schedules and courseware. We run regular live online and classroom batches. See upcoming batches or ask an advisor for the next start date.

    What training formats are available?

We offer PRINCE2 training online (live virtual), classroom, self-paced e-learning and customised corporate group training, so you can pick the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

How is the combined programme structured?

The combined programme is typically delivered over four days, around 32 training hours, covering Foundation first and then Practitioner. You sit the two PeopleCert exams as part of the journey, usually after the relevant content is complete.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training again. Contact support to arrange a change that suits you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
