Yes. PRINCE2 Practitioner validates your ability to apply and tailor a proven project method, and it is valued by IT, construction, finance and public-sector employers in Seoul that run complex, governance-heavy programmes. With the local project management market forecast to grow strongly to 2030, the credential supports senior delivery roles and stronger pay.

What is PRINCE2 Practitioner and who is it for?

PRINCE2 Practitioner (PRINCE2-P) is the advanced PRINCE2 credential from AXELOS and PeopleCert. It validates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to real project scenarios. It is designed for practising and aspiring project managers, Foundation holders and PMO professionals who lead structured delivery.

Our operations are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, so you train with a trusted, quality-assured provider.

Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before the Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is the standard prerequisite for Practitioner. Accepted equivalents can also include PMP, CAPM and IPMA Level A/B/C/D. Verify current accepted equivalents at peoplecert.org before you apply.

How long is the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification valid?

PRINCE2 Practitioner is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking and passing the Practitioner exam, by completing continuing professional development through a PeopleCert MyAxelos subscription, or by passing a higher-level PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 Practitioner training cost in Seoul?

Training is usually purchased as a combined training and exam package, and pricing varies by format and provider. Speak with a learning advisor for a tailored quote, and request a quote for live online or corporate options in Seoul.

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The fee typically includes accredited courseware built on the PRINCE2 7 manual, scenario-based practice questions, mock exams, open-book exam technique, downloadable templates and learner support. Exam vouchers are commonly bundled by accredited providers. Ask a learning advisor what your package includes.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with the Managing Successful Projects manual permitted. It uses scenario-based objective test questions, including multiple-choice, matching, sequence and assertion-reason formats, and is delivered online via PeopleCert OnVUE or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it. It is open book and scenario-based, so it tests analysis and judgment rather than simple recall.

What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

The pass mark is 60%, which means at least 42 out of 70 marks. Because the exam is scenario-based, focus on applying and tailoring the method across the nine syllabus areas rather than memorising content.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The PRINCE2 7th Edition Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted during the exam. However, questions require scenario-based analysis, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential, which our training builds through practice.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

You can resit the Practitioner exam. Our training includes scenario practice, mock exams and open-book technique to prepare you thoroughly, and selected plans offer retake support. Verify the PeopleCert resit policy and any fees at peoplecert.org.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PRINCE2 training?

The training covers the nine Practitioner syllabus areas: PRINCE2 Principles, Practices, Processes, Key Roles and Responsibilities, People Management and Collaboration, Sustainability and ESG, Digital and Data Management, Effective Communication, and Tailoring to your needs, all built on the PRINCE2 7th Edition.

Can a Foundation holder take this course?

Yes. Practitioner is designed for PRINCE2 Foundation holders, or holders of an accepted equivalent such as PMP or CAPM. The training assumes Foundation-level knowledge and builds your ability to apply and tailor the method in real project scenarios.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive accredited courseware aligned to the PRINCE2 7 manual, scenario-based practice questions, mock exams, open-book exam technique guidance, templates and revision aids to help you apply the method and prepare for the exam.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PRINCE2 edition?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) and the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus, including the People capability, sustainability and digital themes introduced in this edition.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate after meeting the course requirements. On passing the PeopleCert exam, you also receive the official PRINCE2 Practitioner digital certificate and badge, valid for three years.
