Market Forces Driving PRINCE2 Demand in Incheon

    Biopharma Programme Complexity

Songdo CDMO plant builds, validations and tech transfers run as large multi-stage programmes, demanding the business-case discipline and stage control that PRINCE2 is built to provide.

PRINCE2 builds stage control and governance skills

    Logistics and Aviation Scale

Incheon Port and Incheon International Airport run concurrent capital and operations projects, where clear tolerances, exception reporting and risk control keep delivery predictable.

PRINCE2 builds planning and tolerance-control skills

    Certified Practitioner Shortage

The regional talent pool is deep in engineers and specialists but thin in method-certified project managers, so Practitioner holders are rarer and more visible to employers.

PRINCE2 makes method-certified managers stand out

    Capital Discipline Pressure

Biocampus investors and multinational sponsors expect continued business justification, so managers who can maintain the business case and kill low-value work are in demand.

PRINCE2 builds business case and value skills

    Multinational Governance Standards

Global headquarters and Free Economic Zone employers expect an internationally recognised delivery framework, and PRINCE2 gives distributed teams one shared, tailorable method.

PRINCE2 aligns teams to a recognised method

    Digital and Data Centre Build-Out

Hyperscale data centre and digital transformation projects in the IFEZ need tailored, risk-aware delivery, exactly the judgement the scenario-based Practitioner exam tests.

It is designed for practising and aspiring project managers, Foundation holders, and PMP or CAPM holders who want to lead projects using PRINCE2 7.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is an open-book, scenario-based objective test. The PRINCE2 7 Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted, and questions require analysis and judgement rather than simple recall across the nine syllabus areas.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it. It is delivered online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

What does open book mean for this exam?

Open book means the Managing Successful Projects manual is allowed during the exam. However, questions are scenario-based, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient manual navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential, which our exam technique coaching builds.

What is the passing score for the Practitioner exam?

The passing score is 60%, which means at least 42 out of 70 marks. Our training focuses on broad, applied mastery across all nine syllabus areas so you are ready for the scenario questions.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You can resit the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam through PeopleCert. Our trainers provide focused revision and practice on your weaker syllabus areas to help you prepare for a confident second attempt. Ask about retake support when you enrol.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The training covers the nine PRINCE2 7 Practitioner syllabus areas: principles, practices, processes, key roles and responsibilities, people management, sustainability and ESG, digital and data management, communication, and tailoring, all through project scenarios.

Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before the Practitioner course?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is the required prerequisite, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A, B, C or D. If you do not yet hold one, we can guide you on completing Foundation first before Practitioner.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive accredited PRINCE2 7 courseware, scenario-based practice questions, references to the Practitioner Syllabus and the Managing Successful Projects manual, and exam technique guidance to prepare for the open-book paper.

What is new in PRINCE2 7 compared with PRINCE2 6?

PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates commercial management, sustainability and agile considerations. The training is aligned to the current 7th edition throughout.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate. Passing the PeopleCert exam separately awards the official PRINCE2 Practitioner digital certificate and badge, valid for three years.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website by choosing your preferred format and completing payment, after which you receive schedules and course access. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to pick a start date that suits you.

    What training formats are available?

We offer PRINCE2 training online through live virtual instructor-led sessions, alongside classroom and customised corporate group training. Choose the format that best fits your schedule and learning style.

What are the requirements to enrol in the training?

You should hold PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent to sit the Practitioner exam. Anyone can join the training to build applied method skills, and we can advise on the prerequisite route if you need it.

Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training again. Contact support to arrange this.
