PRINCE2 builds risk and controlled-delivery skills

    Audit and Regulatory Rigour

Finance, public sector and infrastructure projects face heavy audit and compliance demands, and PRINCE2's defined roles, tolerances and controls give teams the governance evidence they need.

    Strategy-To-Delivery Gap

Boards approve ambitious transformation and capex programmes, but weak project governance causes delay and value leakage that certified project managers are increasingly hired to fix.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is the world's most widely used structured project management method. The combined certification covers two levels: Foundation, which tests your knowledge of the method, and Practitioner, which tests your ability to apply and tailor it. Both are based on PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) from PeopleCert and AXELOS.

    General

What is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification?

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is the world's most widely used structured project management method. The combined certification covers two levels: Foundation, which tests your knowledge of the method, and Practitioner, which tests your ability to apply and tailor it. Both are based on PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) from PeopleCert and AXELOS.

Who should take PRINCE2 certification training in Seoul?

It suits project managers, coordinators, delivery leads and team members across Seoul's IT, semiconductor, construction, finance and public sectors. Foundation is open to everyone with no prerequisites, while Practitioner is aimed at those who will manage and tailor PRINCE2 projects.

Is PRINCE2 worth it in 2026?

Yes. With Korea's project management market growing quickly and a shortage of certified delivery talent, PRINCE2 is a valuable, globally recognised credential. It signals to employers that you can plan, govern and control projects using a proven method, and it opens roles from project manager to head of PMO.

Is PRINCE2 recognised in South Korea and worldwide?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised globally, with over one million certificates issued across more than 200 countries. Korean employers in IT, finance, engineering and the public sector value it as a mark of structured, disciplined project delivery.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, and Practitioner can be renewed by re-sitting the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

How does PRINCE2 differ from PMP?

PRINCE2 is a structured, prescriptive project management method, especially strong in the UK, Europe, Asia and Commonwealth markets. PMP is a broader credential covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. Many professionals hold both to meet different employer requirements.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Seoul?

Training fees vary by format and provider, and the combined Foundation and Practitioner package is usually the best value. The PeopleCert exam fees are billed separately and vary by region and channel. For current pricing, request a quote or speak with a learning advisor.

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The fee typically includes accredited courseware, practice questions, mock exams for both levels, learner support and a course completion certificate. Many packages also bundle the two exam vouchers. Confirm exact inclusions when you request a quote.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

This depends on the package. Accredited providers often bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers with training, though PeopleCert exam fees can also be purchased separately. Ask a learning advisor which option applies to your enrolment.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs and delivery teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 exams?

There are two exams. Foundation is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, and the pass mark is 60% (36 of 60). Practitioner is open book with 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks in 150 minutes, and the pass mark is 60% (42 of 70).

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam. Both must be passed to hold both credentials, and both are based on the PRINCE2 7 syllabus.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects (7th Edition) manual is permitted in the Practitioner exam. You can refer to it, but the questions require analysis and judgement, so time management matters more than looking things up.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

You can sit both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined package.

What are the prerequisites for each level?

Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Verify current accepted equivalents with PeopleCert.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit the exam. Selected training packages include retake support such as a Flexi Pass to attend the training again. Confirm the re-sit policy and any fees with PeopleCert and your learning advisor.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 training cover?

The course covers the seven PRINCE2 principles, the new People capability, the seven practices (business case, organising, plans, quality, risk, issues and progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and exam technique for both levels.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and starts from the basics, so beginners and career changers are welcome. The training then builds to the applied Practitioner level with guided practice and support.

What is new in PRINCE2 7 compared with PRINCE2 6?

PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, adds commercial management, and integrates agile and sustainability across the method. Our courseware is aligned to this current 7th edition.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive accredited PRINCE2 courseware, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, quizzes, and reference guidance aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabus and the Managing Successful Projects manual.

Are there practice tests and mock exams?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, helping you identify weak areas, build recall and manage exam timing before the real papers.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your format, complete payment and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced e-learning, and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule in Seoul.

Do I need any experience to enrol?

No experience is needed to enrol or to sit Foundation. For Practitioner, you need Foundation or an accepted equivalent. The training itself prepares you fully for both exams.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a Flexi Pass to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
