PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's flagship, globally recognised credential for professionals who lead and direct projects and teams. It suits project managers, team leads, and professionals moving into project roles who want to validate their ability to run predictive, agile and hybrid projects.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's flagship, globally recognised credential for professionals who lead and direct projects and teams. It suits project managers, team leads, and professionals moving into project roles who want to validate their ability to run predictive, agile and hybrid projects.

Is PMP certification worth it in Israel?

Yes. PMP is valued across Israel's high-tech, defence, banking and infrastructure sectors, and PMI reports certified holders earn a 17% higher median salary than non-certified peers. It opens senior project, programme and PMO roles and travels across sectors and borders.

Why choose Invensis Learning for PMP training in Israel?

Invensis Learning is a PMI Authorized Training Partner offering PMI-aligned courseware, accredited trainers, flexible delivery, and support for the exam and PMI application. We help you move from learning to certification with a clear, supported path.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

Which edition is the PMP exam based on?

The current PMP exam is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO). Around half the exam covers predictive delivery and half covers agile and hybrid approaches, reflecting how projects run today.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMP training fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours of project management education, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, application guidance and learner support. Speak with a learning advisor for a detailed quote.

How much does the PMP exam cost?

For reference, PMI charges around USD 405 for members and USD 555 for non-members, billed in USD and subject to change. PMI membership can reduce the exam fee and provides access to the PMBOK Guide. Confirm current fees on pmi.org before applying.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately in USD. The Invensis Learning training fee covers your preparation, courseware and contact hours, not the PMI exam or membership fees.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts for PMP training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for delivery teams, PMOs and departments across Israel. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

What payment and instalment options are available?

    Exam

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank question types.

What are the PMP exam domains?

The current exam, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, and performance is reported by domain as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Israel?

You can sit the exam at a Pearson VUE test centre or online from home or office through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring. Scheduling is done via PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our training, mock exams and simulator are designed to prepare you thoroughly for a first-time pass.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP exam?

Two paths apply: a four-year degree plus 36 months leading projects, or a secondary diploma plus 60 months leading projects. Both require 35 contact hours of project management education, which this training provides.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMP course?

You will learn to select delivery approaches and plan, execute and control projects across predictive, agile and hybrid methods. The course covers all five domains of the current PMP Examination Content Outline, plus business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Do I need prior experience to take the training?
