Is PRINCE2 recognised in Israel?

Yes. PRINCE2 is a globally recognised credential with over one million certificates issued worldwide. In Israel it is valued by high-tech, defence, banking and public-sector employers, and it is frequently requested on European and UK contracts that Israeli companies deliver.

What is new in PRINCE2 7 compared with PRINCE2 6?

PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, adds commercial management, and integrates agile and sustainability considerations. It is the current edition that both the Foundation and Practitioner exams are based on.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, and Practitioner can be renewed by re-taking the exam, completing CPD, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

Foundation is a closed-book exam of 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60 percent, meaning 36 correct answers out of 60. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

Practitioner is an open-book, scenario-based exam of 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. The PRINCE2 manual is permitted, and the pass mark is 60 percent, meaning 42 out of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is the prerequisite for Practitioner. Equivalent qualifications such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA levels are also accepted; verify accepted equivalents with PeopleCert. In this combined course you take Foundation first, then Practitioner.

Where can I sit the PRINCE2 exams in Israel?

You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE online proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the programme.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the exam, and our preparation includes mock exams and question practice to reduce that risk. Re-sit fees and policies are set by PeopleCert, so confirm the current terms with your advisor before booking.

The training covers PRINCE2 7 in full: the seven principles, the People capability, the seven practices (Business Case, Organizing, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues and Progress), the seven processes, tailoring, and preparation for both exams.

Do I need prior experience or a degree to take this course?

No. PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, so beginners are welcome. Practitioner builds on Foundation and suits practising or aspiring project managers, but you do not need a degree or set years of experience.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes for both levels, helping you find weak areas and build readiness for the Foundation and Practitioner papers.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PRINCE2 edition?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to PRINCE2 7, the current 7th edition (2023), and the PeopleCert Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses, including the People capability and the renamed practices.
