What do I get when I pass the bridge exam?

On passing, you hold the ITIL 5 Foundation credential, equivalent to taking and passing the full ITIL 5 Foundation exam. This opens access to higher ITIL 5 qualifications without repeating foundational content you already know.

Is the ITIL 5 credential recognised in Croatia?

Yes. ITIL is the most widely recognised service management framework, governed by AXELOS with exams delivered by PeopleCert. The ITIL 5 Foundation credential is valued by IT services firms, telecoms, banks and the public sector across Croatia and the wider EU.

How long is the ITIL 5 credential valid?

The ITIL 5 Foundation credential is valid for three years. To keep it current, you renew by earning 60 CPD points within the three-year cycle through PeopleCert, or by passing a higher ITIL 5 qualification.

What is the format of the ITIL 5 Bridge exam?

The exam is closed book with 20 multiple-choice questions, each with a single correct answer. It is delivered by PeopleCert, either online proctored through OnVUE or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions and how long is the exam?

The bridge exam has 20 questions and a duration of 30 minutes. It focuses only on what is new and changed in ITIL 5 relative to ITIL 4, across the five bridge topic areas.

What is the passing score for the bridge exam?

The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 13 of the 20 questions correctly. Preparation that covers all five bridge topics is the best way to be ready.

Do I need ITIL 4 Foundation to take the bridge?

Yes. The ITIL 4 Foundation certification is the required prerequisite for the bridge. If you do not hold ITIL 4 Foundation, you should take the full ITIL 5 Foundation exam instead.

What if I do not pass the exam first time?
