Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification for the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real scenarios. Both are underpinned by the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification for the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real scenarios. Both are underpinned by the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute.

Who should take this change management certification?

It suits change managers, project and programme leaders, HR business partners, organisational development practitioners, consultants and senior leaders sponsoring change. Anyone who leads or supports organisational change in Finland can benefit, and Foundation has no formal prerequisites.

Is the Change Management certification recognised in Finland?

Yes. The credential is recognised internationally and valued by Finnish employers across consulting, technology, banking, the public sector and industry that run large digital, AI and net-zero transformation programmes.

What is the difference between Foundation and Practitioner?

Foundation tests knowledge and comprehension of change models at awareness level through a closed-book exam. Practitioner tests your ability to apply those models to realistic scenarios through an open-book, scenario-based exam. The combined programme covers both levels end to end.

Is this change management certification worth it in Finland?

Yes. Certified change roles in Finland range from change analyst up to Head of Change, with change managers earning around EUR 72,000 and senior roles reaching EUR 90,000 and above. As transformation accelerates, credentialed change practitioners are in strong demand.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. Change Management Foundation is open to all, with no formal education or experience prerequisites. Practitioner requires you to hold Foundation first, which the combined programme prepares you for.

    Pricing

How much does Change Management training cost in Finland?

Fees vary by delivery format and schedule, so pricing is available on request in euros. The fee covers training and preparation for both exams. Request a quote or speak with a learning advisor for current Finland pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

Your enrolment typically includes CMBoK-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams and practice questions, first-attempt exam guidance and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion is confirmed at the time of booking.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Combined training packages usually include both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, but this varies by package. Confirm voucher inclusion when you enrol, and ask a learning advisor for a full breakdown.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for change functions, PMOs and HR teams across Finland. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, taken closed book in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, taken open book in 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks. The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

Are there prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

Yes. You must hold the Change Management Foundation certification before sitting the Practitioner exam. The combined programme covers Foundation first, then Practitioner, so you can progress through both in sequence.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

Our mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance are designed to help you pass both exams first time. If a resit is needed, we guide you through the re-sit process. Ask a learning advisor about resit options for your plan.

Which standard is the exam based on?

Both exams are based on the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner syllabi, aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

    Course Content

What topics does the training cover?

The programme covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organization, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation builds knowledge; Practitioner applies it to scenarios.

Which change models will I learn?

You learn a broad set of models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's three-step approach, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Can a complete beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and starts from first principles, so beginners are welcome. Trainer-led sessions, case studies and practice questions build your understanding step by step toward both exams.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive CMBoK-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner practice questions and mock exams, and reference to the Change Management Practitioner Guide used in the open-book Practitioner exam.

How long is the combined training programme?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days varies with the schedule format, from intensive full days to extended part-day sessions, so it fits working professionals.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the Change Management course in Finland?

Enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right batch.

    What training formats are available?

You can choose online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom or onsite training, or customised corporate group training. Each format prepares you for both the Foundation and Practitioner exams. Pick the format that fits your schedule.

    How soon can I start?

New batches run regularly across Finland time zones for both individuals and teams. See upcoming schedules or talk to a learning advisor to find the next available start date that suits you.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans allow you to attend the training again. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
