    Coordinating Programmes at Scale

As enterprises run many concurrent projects, they need people who can link subprojects into master plans and report at programme level, an advanced Microsoft Project capability.

How much does Microsoft Project training cost in Finland?

Fees vary by level, delivery format and group size, so pricing is available on request. Share your preferred level and format and a learning advisor will send a tailored quote for individuals or teams in Finland.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee includes instructor-led sessions, hands-on Microsoft Project exercises, organised courseware and learning resources, and post-training support. On completion you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Request a quote for full details.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the payment option that best suits you or your organisation.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for this course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no examination at either level. Your learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios throughout the training.

Do I get a certificate after the training?

Yes. After you complete the programme you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It records the training you attended and the practical Microsoft Project skills you built, which you can apply straight away at work.

    How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you learn by doing, following the trainer through live Microsoft Project exercises on realistic projects, so you build genuine proficiency during the sessions rather than preparing for a test.

Will this help with PMP or PRINCE2 skills?

Yes. Microsoft Project is the scheduling tool practitioners use to apply methodologies such as the PMBOK Guide and PRINCE2, including Critical Path Method scheduling and Earned Value Management, so the training complements project management method courses well.

How long does the training take?

The Fundamentals level runs over 2 days, totalling 16 hours, and the Advanced level over 3 days, totalling 24 hours. Both are also available in extended half-day formats, and you can attend either level independently or in sequence.

    Course Content

What does the Fundamentals level cover?

Fundamentals covers project and calendar setup, building the work breakdown structure, task durations and milestones, the four dependency types with lag and lead time, the critical path, work, material and cost resources, baselines, progress tracking and built-in reports.

What does the Advanced level add?

Advanced adds task types and the scheduling formula, resource pools and levelling, cost and Earned Value management, custom fields, views, tables and reports, master projects with cross-project links, what-if scenarios, and Microsoft 365 integration.

Will I practise on realistic projects?

Yes. Both levels are delivered with live, hands-on Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios. You follow along as the trainer demonstrates each feature, so you build practical, transferable skill through repeated practice.

Which version of Microsoft Project is used?

The course focuses on the desktop editions, Microsoft Project Standard and Professional, with an overview of Project Online within Microsoft 365. Confirm the exact software version for your session with your learning advisor before it begins.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You will be able to build and control a full schedule, link tasks and read the critical path, assign and balance resources, set baselines and track progress, and generate reports. Advanced learners can also manage costs, Earned Value and multiple projects.
