Why Czech Employers Need Data-Driven Improvement Now

    Automotive Margin and EV Pressure

Czech car makers and tier-1 suppliers face thin margins and a costly shift to EV and SAE Level 3 vehicles. Green Belts who cut defects and cycle time help protect profitability.

Green Belt builds defect and cycle-time reduction skills

    Process Transformation in GBS Hubs

Prague and Brno shared services centres are re-engineering finance, HR and procurement processes. Certified improvement talent is needed to standardise and automate them.

Green Belt builds process mapping and standardisation skills

    Industry 4.0 and Automation

Smart factories generate huge volumes of process data. Employers need professionals who can apply statistics and SPC to turn that data into measurable gains.

Green Belt builds statistics and SPC skills

    Skilled Improvement Talent Shortage

Czechia has deep manufacturing experience but few certified Lean Six Sigma practitioners. The Green Belt credential makes holders stand out in a tight labour market.

Green Belt makes certified practitioners stand out

    Quality and Compliance Pressure

Pharma, medical device and electronics makers face strict quality standards. DMAIC discipline helps reduce errors and sustain audit-ready, capable processes.

Green Belt builds DMAIC and capability skills

    Rising Cost and Waste Pressure

Energy and input costs push manufacturers to eliminate waste. Lean tools such as 5S, VSM and Kanban let Green Belts remove non-value work across operations.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an intermediate process improvement credential that proves you can lead and support DMAIC projects using data. It covers Lean and Six Sigma tools across the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control phases, and is recognised by employers worldwide.

    General

What is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification?

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an intermediate process improvement credential that proves you can lead and support DMAIC projects using data. It covers Lean and Six Sigma tools across the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control phases, and is recognised by employers worldwide.

Is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt worth it in Czechia?

Yes. Czech employers in automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals and the Prague and Brno business services hubs actively seek professionals who can cut waste and defects. Green Belt skills map to quality, process and operations roles that pay well above the national average.

Who should take the Green Belt course?

It suits quality engineers, process and manufacturing professionals, operations analysts, and anyone leading or supporting improvement projects. It also fits those advancing from Yellow Belt or planning to progress towards Black Belt.

Do I need any prerequisites to get certified?

No. The certification has no formal education, experience or training prerequisites, so you can sit the exam whenever you are ready. Training and real-world project experience are recommended but not required.

Which body awards the Green Belt credential?

The credential is awarded by the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC), an independent third-party body now part of PeopleCert. It provides a vendor-neutral validation of your Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

How long is the certification valid?

The Green Belt certification holds Current status for three years from the date you certify. You can renew it by passing the recertification exam before it elapses, keeping your credential active for another three years.

    Pricing

How much does Green Belt training cost in Czechia?

Training fees vary by format and provider, and corporate group rates differ from individual enrolment. Instructor-led Green Belt training is quoted on request. Request a quote for current pricing and upcoming batches in Czechia.

What is included in the course fee?

Your fee typically includes instructor-led sessions, courseware aligned to all five DMAIC phases, practice questions, mock exams, project guidance and learner support. The exam voucher is usually purchased separately.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. The Green Belt exam voucher is bought separately and billed in USD under regional pricing, so it is not part of the training fee. We can guide you through purchasing and scheduling it.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for quality, production and operations teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Green Belt exam?

The exam is closed book with 100 multiple-choice and true or false questions. Some forms include up to 10 additional unscored questions. It is taken via online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How long is the exam and what is the pass mark?

You have three hours to complete the exam. To pass you must score at least 385 out of 550 points, which is roughly 70 percent, with questions drawn from across the five DMAIC phases.

How many questions cover each DMAIC phase?

The exam includes approximately 20 questions per phase, spread evenly across Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. This means broad mastery matters more than focusing on a single area.

What if I do not pass the first time?

You can retake the exam by purchasing another voucher. Our training, mock exams and practice questions are designed to prepare you thoroughly, so you can sit with confidence and reduce the chance of a resit.

Where can I take the exam in Czechia?

You can take it online with remote proctoring from home or work, available around the clock, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Both options are available across Czechia.

    Course Content

What topics does the Green Belt course cover?

The course covers all five DMAIC phases: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. You learn Lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping and Kanban, plus statistics, hypothesis testing, regression and statistical process control.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The course assumes no prior Lean Six Sigma knowledge and builds the statistics step by step. Hands-on examples and practice make the tools accessible even if you are new to data analysis.

How many training hours does the course include?

The programme includes 32 hours of training, delivered as intensive full days or spread across several shorter sessions. The schedule is designed to fit working professionals.

Is there a hands-on project component?

Yes. You apply the DMAIC tools to a real or simulated improvement project, so you leave able to run a project at work, not just pass an exam.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive courseware aligned to the Green Belt body of knowledge, practice questions, mock exams, templates and quizzes to reinforce each phase and prepare for the exam.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol online through Invensis Learning and join the next available batch. Choose your format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and resources. See upcoming batches to get started.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and location in Czechia.

Is the training available across Czechia?

Yes. Live online training is available anywhere in Czechia, and in-company sessions can be delivered onsite for teams in Prague, Brno, Plzen, Ostrava and beyond.

Can I reschedule my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
