    What topics does the Lean IT syllabus cover?

    The syllabus spans eight modules: introduction to Lean, focusing on the customer, improving existing processes, enhancing operational performance, organisation, behaviour and attitude, Lean IT leadership, and Lean IT Kaizen.

    What Lean tools will I learn to use?

    You will work with the five Lean principles, muda, mura and muri, the Deming circle (PDCA), VoC and CTQ, the SIPOC model, value stream mapping, Heijunka, 5S, Kanban, the Shingo model, Kaizen and the DMAIC model.

    The course runs over two days for a total of 16 hours, and can also be delivered as four half-day sessions. It covers Lean principles applied to IT across the full eight-module syllabus with exercises and case studies.
