    Is there an exam for the RCA course?

    No. This is a non-certification skills course with no exam. Learning is reinforced through hands-on RCA exercises, case study investigations and team discussion during the programme, so you leave able to apply the tools straight away.

    How is my learning assessed?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each RCA tool to realistic problem scenarios throughout the day, including an Is/Is Not exercise, a 5 Whys investigation, a Fishbone workshop and a full 8D report, so you build real capability.

    Will I receive a certificate after the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you complete the programme. This is a record of training completed; it is not a formal certification, as RCA has no external awarding body.

    Do I need prior experience or prerequisites?

    No. The course has no formal prerequisites and introduces RCA from first principles. Some familiarity with quality or process improvement is helpful but not required, so professionals at any level can attend.

    You will learn Is/Is Not (Kepner-Tregoe) analysis, the 5 Whys, the Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA in the RCA context, Pareto analysis and the 8D problem-solving method, plus how to choose the right tool for each problem.

    Are there hands-on exercises in the course?

    Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout the day, including a problem definition exercise, a 5 Whys investigation, a Fishbone workshop and a completed 8D report on a realistic scenario, so you practise every tool before applying it at work.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive structured courseware, worked examples, case studies, downloadable RCA templates such as 8D and Fishbone worksheets, and a course completion certificate. Corporate sessions can use your own defects and incidents as case material.
