It is designed for project risk managers, risk analysts, senior project managers and consultants who specialise in risk on projects and programmes.

    Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Brazil?

    Yes. As Brazil scales pre-salt energy, infrastructure and mining investment, employers increasingly want certified risk specialists. Risk manager roles average around R$270,000 a year, and certified professionals report a pay premium of up to 20% over generalist project roles.

    Do I need a PMP before taking the PMI-RMP?

    No. The PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many holders do carry both, as the two credentials are highly complementary.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP?

    PMI offers three routes. With a secondary diploma you need 36 months of project risk experience in the last 5 years plus 40 hours of risk education. With a bachelor's degree you need 24 months plus 30 hours. A GAC-accredited degree needs 12 months plus 30 hours.

    How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how do I renew it?

    The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To renew, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle and pay the PMI renewal fee.

    How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Brazil?

    Training fees vary by format, such as live online, classroom or corporate group delivery. Pricing for Brazil is available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current pricing.

    What is included in the course fee?

    The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates, application and eligibility guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate. Talk to a learning advisor for full inclusions.

    Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

    No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members, so verify current fees at pmi.org. PMI membership can reduce the exam fee and give access to the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

    Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

    What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

    The PMI-RMP exam is closed-book with multiple-choice questions, in single-answer and multiple-answer formats. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, and is based on the January 2022 Examination Content Outline.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 115 questions and a time limit of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). Results are reported with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

    The 2022 exam content outline defines five domains: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

    What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis of the scored questions, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains rather than a single number.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts, and our practice questions and mock exams help you prepare for a confident retake.

    Do I need prior experience to follow the training?

    You can join the training with a project background and grow into the risk material through guided, scenario-based sessions. To sit the exam, PMI requires documented project risk experience and education, which the training's 32 contact hours help you meet.

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline and Handbook, practice questions aligned to the 115-question format, full-length mock exams, templates and chapter-wise quizzes.

    Does the training meet the PMI education requirement?
