Why Change Management Skills Are in Demand in Brazil

    Digital Transformation Adoption Gap

Brazilian banks and enterprises invest heavily in cloud, AI and core modernisation, but value leaks when employees do not adopt new systems. Trained change professionals close that gap.

Certified change skills close the adoption gap

    The People Side Is Overlooked

Boards fund technology programmes, yet resistance, weak sponsorship and poor communication stall them. Change managers are hired specifically to lead the human dimension of change.

Change management builds stakeholder and communication skill

    Scarce Structured Change Skills

Brazil has deep project talent but far fewer professionals trained in recognised frameworks such as ADKAR and Kotter, making credentialed change practitioners rare and sought-after.

The credential makes practitioners stand out

    Fintech and Regulatory Pressure

Open Finance, PIX and fintech competition push banks and insurers to restructure fast, raising demand for people who can lead workforce, process and culture change under pressure.

    Change management supports rapid restructuring

    Mergers and Restructuring Wave

Mergers, acquisitions and cost programmes across Brazilian sectors need disciplined change management to protect value, retain talent and keep culture intact through disruption.

Change management protects value and culture

    New Ways of Working

Hybrid work, agile adoption and AI are reshaping how teams operate. Organisations need practitioners who can embed new behaviours so change lasts beyond the launch.

Change management helps embed lasting behaviour

Sources: Mordor Intelligence and IMARC Group 2026 (digital transformation and consulting); Galileo and EY (banking and workforce transformation, Brazil).

Change management is more than a credential. It is the skill that makes transformation stick. Join professionals across Brazil who lead adoption, manage resistance and turn strategy into lasting change. Start your journey today.

    General

Is the Change Management certification worth it in Brazil?

Yes. As Brazilian banks, retailers and technology firms accelerate digital transformation, professionals who can lead adoption and manage resistance are in strong demand. The credential maps to change manager and transformation roles that command higher salary bands, making it a solid career investment.

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level credential covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change concepts; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios. It is aligned to the CMBoK from the Change Management Institute.

Who should take this Change Management course?

It suits project and programme managers, HR and OD professionals, consultants, and leaders who sponsor or support change. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so it is open to anyone wanting to build recognised change management skills.

What change models does the syllabus cover?

The syllabus covers a broad range of models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

How long are the certifications valid?

Validity and any renewal requirements for the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are set by the certification body. We recommend confirming current validity and renewal details with Invensis Learning before you enrol.

    Pricing

How much does Change Management training cost in Brazil?

Training fees vary by delivery format and whether exam vouchers are included, so pricing is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote for live virtual, classroom or corporate training in Brazil.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes CMBoK-aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both levels, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, so confirm the details when you request a quote.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam fees may be billed separately depending on the package and region. Confirm whether the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are included with Invensis Learning before you enrol. Request a quote for a full breakdown.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMO, HR and transformation teams. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a 40-minute duration. It is closed book, uses single-answer questions, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It is typically taken at the end of Foundation training.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks, for 80 marks in total. It runs for 2.5 hours, is open book with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

Are there prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

Yes. You must hold the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, before sitting the Practitioner exam. Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit the exam you did not pass. Re-sit policies and any fees are set by the certification body, and our trainers provide preparation guidance to help you succeed. Confirm current re-sit details with Invensis Learning.

    Course Content

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no formal prerequisites and starts from core change concepts, so beginners are welcome. The combined programme then builds you up to Practitioner level with structured practice and trainer support.

What topics are covered in the training?

The training covers the five syllabus areas: change and the individual, change and the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, change practice, and personal and professional management, taught at Foundation and applied at Practitioner level.

How long is the training programme?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule, for example a five-day intensive or a longer part-time format.

Are practice materials and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes CMBoK-aligned courseware, case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner Exam Syllabi and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) published by the Change Management Institute.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual instructor-led training, classroom training, and customised corporate group training online or onsite, so you can pick the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

Do I need prior experience to enrol?

No prior experience is required to enrol. Foundation is open to all, and the Practitioner level requires the Foundation certification, which this combined programme prepares you to earn first.
