    How many questions are on the PMI-CP exam and how long is it?

    The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions and an allotted time of 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    Per the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline (ECO), the four domains are Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%).

    What standard is the PMI-CP exam based on?

    The exam is based on the current PMI-CP Examination Content Outline, aligned to construction industry standards and the current edition of the PMBOK Guide. The governing body is the Project Management Institute (PMI).

    What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback (Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement), so aim for broad mastery across all four domains.

    How many attempts do I get for the PMI-CP exam?

    You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window that starts from the date your application is approved.

    Where can I take the PMI-CP exam in Barbados?

    The training covers all four ECO domains: Contracts Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy and Scope Management, and Project Governance. This spans contract types, administration, claims, stakeholder engagement, scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and governance.

    What are the four mandatory prerequisite modules?

    Before applying, you must complete four self-paced PMI-CP modules in any order, each worth 14 PDUs: Project Communications, Interface Management, Scope and Change Order Management, and Contract and Risk Management, for 56 PDUs in total. Our training guides you through them.

    Does this training meet the 35 contact hours requirement?

    The programme provides 32 contact hours of instructor-led training, close to but below the 35 contact hours of project management education PMI requires. Check with us on how supplementary self-study or pre-reading is credited toward the 35-hour requirement.

    What learning materials are included?

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and Handbook, practice questions, mock exams, and application guidance, all mapped to the four exam domains.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-CP exam?

    You complete the four mandatory modules plus one of three experience sets: a secondary diploma with 60 months of construction PM experience, a bachelor's degree with 36 months, or a GAC-accredited degree with 24 months. All sets need 35 contact hours of PM education.

    How do I enrol in the PMI-CP course?
