    What is the format of the PgMP exam?

    The PgMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. It uses scenario-based questions across five performance domains and is delivered online proctored or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It is closed book and uses single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    There are five domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%). Program Life Cycle Management carries the greatest weight, so plan your preparation accordingly.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented programme experience and competency. It is mandatory in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.

    What if I do not pass the exam, can I retake it?

    Yes. PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts; confirm current amounts on the PMI store. Our prep support helps you go in ready.

    Do I need prior experience to take the training?

    Anyone can attend the training, but the PgMP itself is a senior credential. To sit the exam, PMI requires substantial project and programme management experience under one of three eligibility sets. The training assumes you are an experienced practitioner preparing for that level.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and scenario-based exercises mapped to the PgMP Examination Content Outline, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest PgMP standard?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to PMI's Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, and the current PgMP Examination Content Outline, so you prepare against the framework the exam is actually built on.

    Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

    Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours earned through the programme, which also count toward your professional development.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PgMP exam?

    PMI offers three sets. With a secondary diploma: 48 months of project management experience or an active PMP, plus 84 months of programme experience. With a four-year degree: 48 months project and 48 months programme experience. A GAC-accredited degree reduces these to 36 months each. All experience must fall within the past 15 years.

    How do I enrol in the PgMP course?
