    Is there an exam for this course?

    No. This is a hands-on skills course with no examination at either level. Your learning is reinforced through live Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios, so you build genuine proficiency during the training itself.

    Do I receive anything on completion?

    Yes. On completing the training you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you have completed the programme and built practical Microsoft Project skills you can apply at work straight away.

    How is learning assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise each feature through guided, hands-on exercises using realistic project scenarios. Working alongside the trainer as you build schedules, resources and reports is how you confirm and cement the skills.

    What does the Fundamentals level cover?

    Fundamentals covers project setup and calendars, building the WBS with tasks and milestones, dependencies with lag and lead time, the critical path, work, material and cost resources, effort-driven scheduling, over-allocation, baselines, progress tracking and built-in reports.

    What does the Advanced level cover?

    Advanced covers task types and advanced scheduling, resource pools and levelling, cost and earned value management with SPI, CPI and EAC, custom fields, views and reports, master projects, subprojects and cross-project links, and what-if scenario planning.

    Is the training hands-on or theory based?

    It is hands-on throughout. You follow along in Microsoft Project as the trainer demonstrates each feature, then apply it in realistic exercises. This practice-led approach builds proficiency you can use on live projects immediately.

    Can beginners take this course?

    Yes. The Fundamentals level is designed for beginners and occasional users, with no prior Microsoft Project experience required. If you already use the tool and want to master advanced features, the Advanced level is the better fit.
