    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's globally recognised credential for professionals who lead and direct projects and teams. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Chiang Mai who use predictive, agile or hybrid approaches.

Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Chiang Mai?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and valued by Chiang Mai employers in tourism, healthcare, construction and technology. Globally, PMP holders report earning around 23 to 32 per cent more than non-certified peers. Talk to a learning advisor about your goals.

What standard is the PMP based on?

The PMP is built on the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the PMP Examination Content Outline. About half the exam reflects agile or hybrid ways of working, alongside traditional predictive project management.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths: a four-year degree with 36 months of leading projects, or a secondary diploma with 60 months of leading projects. Both require 35 contact hours of project management education, which this training provides.

Does the PMP exam cover agile?

Yes. Both predictive and agile or hybrid delivery are tested. The PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition exam gives agile a dedicated focus, so you learn Scrum, Kanban and lean practices alongside traditional methods.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Chiang Mai?

Instructor-led PMP training fees vary by format and schedule. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current pricing and group options.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Results are determined psychometrically and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement across the domains, so aim for broad mastery.
