    EEC Mega-Project Delivery

The Eastern Economic Corridor targets 2.2 trillion baht of investment by the end of 2026 across digital, EV and infrastructure, demanding skilled project managers who can deliver complex programmes on time and to budget.

    PMP builds value-realisation discipline

    Certified Talent Shortage

Thailand has a deep pool of project staff but far fewer PMP-certified managers. The credential and its experience requirements make holders visible and sought-after in Bangkok's market.

PMP makes certified leaders stand out

    Multinational Delivery Standards

Global capability centres and multinationals operating in Bangkok expect PMI-aligned delivery. PMP gives project managers a common language recognised across their global teams and clients.

PMP aligns teams to a global standard

    Capital and Cost Discipline

Margin pressure in services and capital discipline in banking and infrastructure push firms to prioritise the right projects and control spend, exactly what PMP-trained managers are equipped to do.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead and direct projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, and is designed for experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead and direct projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, and is designed for experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals.

Is the PMP certification worth it in Bangkok?

Yes. PMP-qualified project managers are in strong demand across Bangkok's IT, banking, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors, where project managers average around 1.45M baht a year and senior roles pay far more. The Eastern Economic Corridor and Thailand 4.0 continue to drive demand for certified leaders.

Is the PMP recognised in Thailand and internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global gold standard of project management. In Thailand it is valued by IT services, banks, multinationals and infrastructure employers, and it is referenced in job specifications and procurement requirements worldwide.

Which standard is the PMP based on?

The PMP is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) published by PMI. The exam covers predictive, agile and hybrid delivery, so training reflects the latest PMI standards.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two eligibility paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across PMI's Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Bangkok?

PMP training fees in Bangkok vary by format, whether live online, classroom or corporate group training. The exact price is available on request. Request a quote for current batch pricing and any offers. The PMI exam fee is billed separately and is not part of the training fee.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours of project management education, practice questions, full-length mock exams, application guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate. Talk to a learning advisor for full inclusions.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately in USD. For reference it is around USD 405 for PMI members and USD 555 for non-members, and membership can lower the cost. Verify current fees on pmi.org before you apply.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts for PMP training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and departments in Bangkok. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

What payment methods and instalment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam has 180 questions in a mix of formats: multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank. It is based on the PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, and uses scenario-based questions across predictive, agile and hybrid content.

How long is the PMP exam?

You have 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes) to complete the PMP exam, which includes two 10-minute scheduled breaks. Planning your pace across the paper is an important part of exam-day preparation.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, and performance is reported by domain as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Focus on broad mastery across all exam content.

How many attempts do I get for the PMP exam?

You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period that starts when your application is approved. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Bangkok?

You can sit the exam at a Pearson VUE test centre in Bangkok or take it online through the Pearson VUE OnVUE proctored system from home or office. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal.

Does the PMP exam cover agile?

Yes. The PMP exam includes significant agile and hybrid content alongside predictive project management, reflecting how projects are actually delivered today. The training covers Scrum, Kanban, hybrid approaches and predictive methods so you are ready for the full paper.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers predictive planning and control, agile and hybrid delivery, leading teams, stakeholder engagement, risk, business analysis and the business environment, all aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current ECO, plus exam strategy.

Do I need prior experience to take the training?

Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires project leadership experience and 35 contact hours of education. If you are early in your career, we will help you understand the eligibility paths and plan your route to the exam.

Are mock exams and practice questions included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the 180-question PMI format, plus quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you study the standards and content the live exam is based on.

Does the training count toward the 35 contact hours?

Yes. The programme provides 35 contact hours of project management education that count toward the PMI eligibility requirement, so you satisfy the training prerequisite as part of the course.
