What Is Fuelling Demand for Certified Project Leaders in Slovenia

    Export-Driven Delivery Complexity

    Digital Transformation Push

EU Recovery and Resilience funds worth around 1.5 billion euros are backing digital and green programmes, and employers need certified leaders who can deliver them at pace.

PMP builds agile and hybrid delivery capability

    Project Talent Shortage

Europe needs 25 million new project professionals by 2030, and Slovenian SMEs still lag in delivery maturity, making credentialed project managers scarce and sought-after.

PMP makes certified project leaders stand out

    Manufacturing Automation and R&D

Slovenia ranks among the world's most robotised economies, so capital, automation and R&D projects require rigorous planning, risk aggregation and cross-team coordination.

PMP builds risk and governance skills

    EU-Funded Programme Governance

Cohesion funding of 3.26 billion euros to 2027 comes with strict reporting and value-realisation demands that certified project managers are trained to meet.

PMP builds prioritisation and value-tracking skills

    Mixed Methodology Pressure

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects and teams using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery specialists ready to formalise their skills.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects and teams using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery specialists ready to formalise their skills.

Is the PMP recognised by employers in Slovenia?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and valued by Slovenian employers across pharmaceuticals, automotive, ICT, banking and infrastructure. It is a portable qualification that travels across the EU and worldwide, making it a strong asset in a growing, export-led economy.

Is the PMP worth it and what is the ROI?

Yes. PMP holders report a 20 to 25 per cent salary premium over non-certified peers, and the credential opens senior project, programme and PMO roles. With Senior Project Manager pay in Slovenia averaging around €47,000, the certification offers a strong return. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths. Path A: a four-year degree, 36 months leading projects and 35 contact hours of project management education. Path B: a secondary diploma, 60 months leading projects and the same 35 contact hours. Our training provides the 35 contact hours.

How long is the PMP valid and how do I renew it?

The PMP is valid for three years. To renew, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle and pay the renewal fee through PMI's continuing certification requirements system.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Slovenia?

Training fees vary by format, whether live online, classroom or corporate group training. Pricing is available on request in euros. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training cost. Request a quote for current pricing and upcoming batches.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours, 1000+ practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance, learner support and a course completion certificate. Ask about corporate or group pricing for teams.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, with lower rates for PMI members than non-members. PMI membership also provides free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Confirm current fees on pmi.org before applying.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and mixed cohorts across Slovenia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that fits your budget.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is closed book and aligned to the current PMP Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. It uses multiple question types, including multiple choice, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank, delivered by Pearson VUE.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. Roughly half the content reflects agile and hybrid delivery, with the remainder predictive.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Focus on broad mastery across the exam content.

Where can I take the PMP exam?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved, within your one-year eligibility period.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window, with a re-examination fee for the second and third attempts. Our mock exams, simulator and trainer support are designed to help you pass the first time.

    Course Content

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers the full PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, spanning predictive plan-based methods, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic alignment, and stakeholder engagement, plus risk management and exam strategy across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

Can a beginner take this, or do I need experience?

You can enrol in the training at any level, but sitting the exam requires PMI's experience and education prerequisites. The programme is structured with worked examples and practice so professionals moving up from team-lead roles can build confidence.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes 1000+ practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 180-question exam.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMP exam?

Yes. The courseware is PMI-aligned and built around the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you prepare against the standard the exam actually uses.

Will I receive a certificate and contact hours?

Yes. After completing the training you receive a course completion certificate and the 35 contact hours of project management education needed to meet the PMI application requirement.

    Enrollment

Who can enrol in the PMP training?

Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires either a four-year degree with 36 months of project leadership, or a secondary diploma with 60 months, plus 35 contact hours of education, which this course provides.

How do I enrol in the PMP course?

Enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.

What training formats are available in Slovenia?

We offer live online (virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and how your team prefers to learn.

Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a Flexi Pass to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
