    What is the format of the Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, single-answer format. The pass mark is 50 percent, which is 25 out of 50 correct. There are no formal prerequisites to sit it.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. It has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50 percent, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario sections require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential.

    How are the exams delivered?

    Both exams are delivered online with proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are usually taken at the end of each level's training. We guide you on booking and preparation for both papers.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can resit the exam that you did not pass. The programme includes mock exams and first-attempt guidance to maximise your chances, and selected plans offer a retake option. Ask about resit policy and support when you enrol.
