    What is the format of the PgMP exam?

    The PgMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Questions are distributed across five performance domains and delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    Five domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%). Programme life cycle management carries the largest share, so plan your preparation accordingly.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is a mandatory step alongside the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, and re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions, mock exams and trainer guidance are designed to build readiness so you sit the exam with confidence.
