What Does Lean Manufacturing Training in Rwanda Cover?UntitledYour Toolkit for a Leaner Shop Floor
Lean Manufacturing Training in Rwanda is a practical one-day programme that teaches production teams how to eliminate waste from manufacturing systems so that every step adds value from the customer's point of view. It is grounded in the Toyota Production System (TPS) developed by Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo, and in the five lean principles: identify value, map the value stream, create flow, establish pull, and seek perfection. Over a single day you learn to identify and remove the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), build value stream maps, apply 5S and visual management, design kanban pull systems, run Just-in-Time and Total Productive Maintenance, and calculate Overall Equipment Effectiveness. You also practise standard work, quick changeover (SMED), production levelling (Heijunka), poka yoke and Kaizen. This is a skills course, not an exam. There is no test or awarding body; you build capability you can apply the next day and receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. It suits production managers, engineers, supervisors and quality staff in Rwanda's fast-growing manufacturing base, from food and beverage to textiles, cement and agro-processing.
