    What will I be able to do after the training?

    You will be able to apply DMADV to a design project, capture and analyse VOC, translate needs into measurable CTQs, build a QFD House of Quality, run a Pugh selection and DFMEA, apply robust design, and plan design verification and transfer.

    What DFSS tools are taught hands on?

    You practise Voice of the Customer capture, the Kano model, CTQ flow-down, Quality Function Deployment, the Pugh concept selection matrix, Design FMEA with RPN, P-diagram and robust design thinking, and the design scorecard.

    Do I need a technical or engineering background?

    A design, engineering or quality background helps, but it is not essential. The programme introduces each DFSS tool from first principles, so professionals new to structured design methods can follow and apply them.

    How does DFSS relate to Lean Six Sigma?

    DFSS is the design counterpart to the DMAIC improvement methodology taught in Lean Six Sigma. Where DMAIC improves what already exists, DFSS designs new products and processes correctly from the start, so the two work together.
