    Yes. You learn prevention-type (control) and detection-type (warning) Poka Yoke, the control and warning functions, and the three detection methods, contact, fixed-value and motion-step, with worked examples of each.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

    Yes. Hands-on error-identification and Poka Yoke design exercises run throughout the day, so you practise spotting error-prone steps and designing solutions rather than only hearing the theory.

    What real-world examples are covered?

    The course draws on case studies from manufacturing, healthcare, service and IT, from asymmetric part designs and torque sensing to barcode checks and web-form validation, showing how simple devices dramatically cut defect rates.

    How long is the Poka Yoke training?

    The programme runs for one day (8 hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations, real-world case studies and hands-on exercises. It can also be delivered as two half-days totalling the same 8 hours.
