    What topics does Minitab Essentials Training cover?

    The course covers six areas: Minitab interface and data management, descriptive statistics and graphs, hypothesis testing, statistical process control, process capability analysis, and regression with measurement system analysis (Gauge R&R).

    What will I be able to do after the course?

    You will be able to import and manage data, build quality graphs, run t-tests, ANOVA and chi-square tests, create I-MR, Xbar-R, P and C control charts, run capability studies for Cp and Cpk, and perform regression and Gauge R&R in Minitab.

    Which control charts are taught?

    You learn to build and interpret Individuals and Moving Range (I-MR), Xbar-R, P and C charts, and to apply Western Electric rules to detect special cause variation and out-of-control signals.

    Does the course cover process capability analysis?

    Yes. You learn capability analysis for normal and non-normal data, the Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk indices and how to interpret them, and the Capability Sixpack report used in Six Sigma project reporting.

    Is the training hands-on?

    Yes. Every module is delivered with live Minitab exercises on realistic quality and process datasets. You build proficiency by practising each analysis, not by watching, which is why access to Minitab during the session matters.
