    General

What is Business Process Management (BPM)?

Business Process Management is the structured discipline of identifying, modelling, analysing, improving and monitoring the processes an organisation uses to deliver value. This training teaches the full BPM lifecycle so you can manage and improve processes end to end.

Is BPM training worth it for my career in Malaysia?

Yes. BPM is a practical, cross-industry skill in strong demand across Malaysia's global business services, banking, energy and digital-government sectors. Roles such as Business Process Analyst and Process Improvement Manager value the modelling, analysis and improvement skills this course builds.

Who should attend this BPM course?

Do I need prior experience to take BPM training?

No prior experience is required. The course introduces BPM from first principles, so some familiarity with business operations helps but is not essential. It is suitable for both newcomers and experienced professionals.

What standards and frameworks does the course cover?

The training is grounded in recognised frameworks: BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation, ISO/IEC 19510) for process modelling, the ISO 9001:2015 process approach, the ABPMP Common Body of Knowledge, and Lean and Six Sigma improvement tools.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for operations, quality, IT and shared-services teams. Ask about corporate or group pricing for a tailored quote.

Is there any separate exam or certification fee?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination, so there is no separate exam or awarding-body fee. You pay only the training fee and receive a course completion certificate on finishing the programme.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Course Content

What topics does the BPM training cover?

The course covers BPM foundations, the six-phase BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 process modelling, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

What is BPMN 2.0 and will I learn it?

BPMN 2.0 is the international standard notation (ISO/IEC 19510) for drawing business processes using swimlanes, events, gateways and flows. Yes, you learn it hands-on, building as-is and to-be process models from real descriptions.

How long is the BPM course?

The programme runs for one day (8 hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations, BPMN modelling exercises and process analysis and redesign workshops. It is also available in an extended half-day format across two days.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. The training is practical throughout, with BPMN modelling from verbal descriptions, process waste-analysis workshops and redesign activities, so you apply each technique during the session rather than just hearing about it.

Is the course delivered online or in a classroom?

Both. BPM training is available online (live virtual instructor-led), in classroom format, and as corporate onsite delivery for teams. Choose the format that fits your schedule when you enrol.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for BPM training?

No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling, process-analysis workshops and group discussion during the programme rather than a formal test.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after finishing the programme. It recognises completion of the training and the practical process skills you have built.

    Is this a certification course?

No. Business Process Management is a practical skills course, not a certification, and there is no external awarding body for the BPM discipline itself. It builds workplace capability you can apply immediately.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, modelling exercises, process-analysis workshops and team activities throughout the day let you apply BPM techniques and check your understanding as you go.

What will I be able to do after completing the course?

After the training you can map processes in BPMN 2.0, analyse them for waste and bottlenecks, apply redesign principles, define process KPIs, establish process ownership and plan how to implement an improved process.
