    Does this course qualify me to lead Six Sigma projects?

    No. This is an awareness-level introduction, not a practitioner programme. To lead DMAIC projects, you would progress to Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt training.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    What topics does the course cover?

    The one-day course covers six modules: Six Sigma history and philosophy, key concepts and terminology, the DMAIC methodology, Six Sigma roles, an awareness-level look at core tools, and Lean Six Sigma in practice.

    What is DPMO and will the course explain it?

    Yes. DPMO means Defects Per Million Opportunities, the standard Six Sigma quality metric. The course explains DPMO, sigma levels and the goal of fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities in plain terms.

    Will I learn about Six Sigma tools?

    Yes, at an awareness level. You will understand what tools such as SIPOC, fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts, control charts and process capability are used for within DMAIC projects, without needing to apply them as a practitioner.

    How long is the training and how is it delivered?

    The course runs for one day (eight hours) and is available as live online, classroom or corporate on-site training. It combines concept explanations, case study examples and interactive team exercises.

    Does the course cover Lean Six Sigma too?

    Yes. The final module introduces Lean Six Sigma, showing how Lean waste elimination combines with Six Sigma variation reduction, and how the approach is applied across different industries.
