    Learning is reinforced through hands-on workshop simulations, team activities and group discussion. You plan and practise elements of a Kaizen event on realistic scenarios, so you leave able to apply the method at work.

    What do I receive after completing the training?

    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning confirming you have completed the one-day Kaizen programme. The skills are immediately applicable and do not expire.

    Does the course include practical, hands-on activities?

    What topics does the Kaizen training cover?

    The programme covers the Kaizen philosophy and PDCA cycle, waste identification at the Gemba, planning and running a Kaizen event, Lean tools such as 5S, standard work and spaghetti diagrams, and sustaining improvements over time.

    What tools will I learn to use?

    You learn the PDCA cycle, 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, process and spaghetti mapping, the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), 5S, standard work and the Kaizen newspaper for tracking follow-up actions.

    How long is the Kaizen training?

    The training runs for one day (eight hours), or two half-days totalling eight hours. It covers all six modules with concept explanations and hands-on workshop simulations throughout.

    Can beginners follow the course content?

    Yes. Every concept is introduced from first principles, so no prior Lean knowledge is needed. The course suits both newcomers to continuous improvement and experienced operations and quality staff.

    Will I be able to run a Kaizen event afterwards?

    Yes. You leave able to select a target, set objectives, assemble a team and facilitate a Kaizen event through its phases, then sustain the gains with standard work and 30-60-90 day follow-up.
