    The EXIN SIAM Foundation exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions, based on the EXIN SIAM Foundation Examination Specification and the SIAM Body of Knowledge. You can take it online with proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). It is closed book with single-answer questions.

    What is the passing score for the SIAM Foundation exam?

    The pass mark is 65 percent, which means you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly to pass.
