PfMP training fees in Jamaica are quoted on request and vary by format and group size. The fee covers PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock exams, and application and panel-review support. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training fee. The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application and panel-review support, learner support, and a course completion certificate with contact hours.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PfMP exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, around USD 800 for PMI members and USD 1,000 for non-members. Membership (about USD 139 per year) lowers the exam fee and gives free access to the Standard for Portfolio Management. Confirm current fees on pmi.org.

What is the format of the PfMP exam?

The PfMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition. It uses scenario and situational questions across five performance domains.

How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PfMP exam domains and their weights?

Five domains: Strategic Alignment (25%), Governance (20%), Portfolio Performance (25%), Portfolio Risk Management (14%) and Communications Management (16%), all set out in the current PfMP Examination Content Outline.

What is the passing score for the PfMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement by domain, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the PfMP exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our prep support, mock exams and simulator are designed to help you build readiness before you sit the exam.

What is the PfMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PfMP. A panel of portfolio management practitioners evaluates your documented portfolio experience and competency. Both the panel review and the written exam must be passed to earn the credential.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes 1000+ practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours (PDUs) earned through the programme.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PfMP exam?

Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires a secondary or bachelor's degree, 120 months (10 years) of business experience within the last 15 years, portfolio management experience (84, 48 or 36 months by education set), and a passed panel review.

Do I need PMP or PgMP before the PfMP?

No. Neither the PMP nor the PgMP is required for the PfMP. Eligibility is based on business and portfolio management experience, not on holding prior PMI certifications, although many senior portfolio leaders do hold them.

What training formats are available in Jamaica?
