    Do I get a certificate after the training?

    Yes. On completing the one-day programme you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. This is a practical, non-certification skills course, so it builds workplace capability rather than awarding a formal credential from an external body.

    Is Minitab Essentials Training a certification course?

    No. It is a hands-on software skills course. There is no formal credential from an awarding body; instead you gain practical Minitab skills you can apply straight away to Six Sigma projects, SPC monitoring and quality improvement work.

    You will learn to import and manage data, produce descriptive statistics and quality graphs, run hypothesis tests, build and interpret control charts, report process capability, and perform regression and Gauge R&R, all live in Minitab across a single practical day.

    Which Minitab tools does the course cover?

    The course covers histograms, boxplots, scatter and time series plots, Pareto charts, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square, I-MR, Xbar-R, P and C control charts, Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk capability, the Capability Sixpack, regression and Gauge R&R.

    Can a complete beginner take this course?

    Yes. The programme is designed for people new to Minitab. It introduces statistical ideas as you use the software, and the live exercises build confidence step by step, so no prior Minitab experience is needed.

    Is the training hands-on or theory-based?

    It is highly hands-on. You follow along in Minitab while the trainer demonstrates each function, working through realistic quality and process datasets so you can repeat every technique at work.

    Does the course cover Six Sigma DMAIC analysis?

    Yes. The hypothesis testing, control charts, capability analysis and regression modules map directly to the Measure and Analyse phases of Six Sigma DMAIC, which is where Minitab is used most in improvement projects.

    The programme runs for one day, totalling eight hours, covering all six Minitab modules with live hands-on exercises throughout. An extended two-half-day format may also be available for some schedules.
