What Is Business Process Management Training?UntitledA Practical Skill for Every Team

Business Process Management (BPM) is a structured discipline for identifying, modelling, analysing, improving and monitoring the processes that deliver value to customers and the organisation. This business process management training in Spain gives you the methodology, tools and hands-on practice to manage processes end to end, not just fix them in isolation. Across a single practical programme you learn the six-phase BPM lifecycle, model processes using BPMN 2.0 (the international notation standard, ISO/IEC 19510, maintained by the Object Management Group), analyse them for waste and bottlenecks, and redesign them for speed, quality and cost. The approach aligns with widely used frameworks including ISO 9001:2015 and the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK). It suits business analysts, process owners, operations managers, IT professionals and quality practitioners across Spain who want to turn process thinking into measurable results. With Spanish organisations investing heavily in digital transformation and process automation, these are skills employers are actively looking for. Start building practical process capability with Invensis Learning.

Business process management training is a practical, non-certification course that teaches you to model, analyse, improve and manage business processes end to end. Over one intensive programme you cover the full BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 modelling, process analysis, redesign and continuous improvement.

Yes. Spanish organisations are investing heavily in digital transformation and process automation, and employers across banking, insurance, IT and the public sector need people who can document and improve how work flows. BPM skills apply immediately on the job and support roles from process analyst to operations manager.

No. The programme has no formal prerequisites and introduces BPM from first principles. Some familiarity with business operations helps but is not required, which makes it suitable for analysts, process owners, IT staff and managers alike.

The course is grounded in widely used BPM standards: BPMN 2.0 (ISO/IEC 19510) for process modelling, maintained by the Object Management Group, alongside the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach.

It suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals, quality and ISO 9001 practitioners, and change or transformation leads who design, manage or improve business processes in any sector.

    General

What is business process management (BPM) training?

Business process management training is a practical, non-certification course that teaches you to model, analyse, improve and manage business processes end to end. Over one intensive programme you cover the full BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 modelling, process analysis, redesign and continuous improvement.

Is BPM training worth it for professionals in Spain?

Yes. Spanish organisations are investing heavily in digital transformation and process automation, and employers across banking, insurance, IT and the public sector need people who can document and improve how work flows. BPM skills apply immediately on the job and support roles from process analyst to operations manager.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No. The programme has no formal prerequisites and introduces BPM from first principles. Some familiarity with business operations helps but is not required, which makes it suitable for analysts, process owners, IT staff and managers alike.

Which standards and frameworks does the training cover?

The course is grounded in widely used BPM standards: BPMN 2.0 (ISO/IEC 19510) for process modelling, maintained by the Object Management Group, alongside the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach.

    Who should attend BPM training?

It suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals, quality and ISO 9001 practitioners, and change or transformation leads who design, manage or improve business processes in any sector.

    Pricing

How much does BPM training cost in Spain?

Fees vary by delivery format (live virtual, classroom or corporate) and group size, so pricing is available on request. Contact a learning advisor for a quote tailored to your chosen format, and ask about group pricing for teams.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six BPM modules, hands-on BPMN modelling and analysis exercises, courseware and learning resources, and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Request a quote for the full list of inclusions.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer volume-based corporate pricing for teams and departments, with training delivered onsite or live virtual and built around your own processes. Ask about corporate and group pricing for your team.

Are there discounts for booking multiple learners?

Group bookings are quoted with volume pricing based on team size and delivery format. Speak with a learning advisor to find the option that suits your organisation.

    What payment methods are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the right option for you.

    Assessment

How is learning assessed on the course?

There is no formal examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling exercises, process analysis and redesign workshops, and group discussion, so you apply the techniques during the programme itself.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you complete the programme. It recognises your participation and the practical BPM skills you have built.

Will the skills expire or need renewal?

No. The BPM skills you learn are immediately applicable and do not expire. There is no renewal requirement, because the training builds practical capability rather than an external credential to maintain.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to map processes using BPMN 2.0, analyse them for waste and bottlenecks, apply redesign principles, define process KPIs, and establish process ownership and governance in your organisation.

Is any prior process knowledge assessed before joining?

No. There is no entry test or assessment to join. The course starts from BPM foundations and builds up to modelling, analysis and redesign, so learners at different levels can follow along comfortably.

    Course Content

What topics does the BPM course cover?

The programme covers six modules: introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, business process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design, redesign and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

    What is the BPM lifecycle?

The BPM lifecycle is the six-phase approach at the heart of the course: identify, model, analyse, design, implement and monitor or optimise processes. You learn to run it as an ongoing cycle, not a one-off project.

Will I learn BPMN 2.0 process modelling?

Yes. You learn to build clear BPMN 2.0 swimlane diagrams using events, gateways, tasks, pools and lanes, and to move from a verbal process description to a validated as-is and to-be model.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. The programme runs practical exercises throughout, including modelling processes from descriptions, analysing them for waste, and redesigning them by applying simplification, standardisation and automation principles.

How long is the training and what format is it in?

The course is delivered as an intensive programme totalling 8 hours, available as online (live virtual) instructor-led, classroom, or corporate onsite training. Materials and case studies support each module.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the BPM course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete your booking, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing.

    What training formats are available?

The course is available as online (live virtual) instructor-led training, in-person classroom training, and customised corporate onsite training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and team.

    When can I start?

New sessions run regularly in live virtual and classroom formats. See upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to find the next available batch that suits you in Spain.

Can this be delivered for my team in Spain?

Yes. We deliver corporate BPM training onsite or live virtual for teams across Spain, built around your own processes so participants model and improve real workflows during the sessions. Ask about corporate training for your team.

    Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule to another batch on selected plans. Contact our support team to arrange a change that works for you.
