Is any prior process knowledge assessed before joining?

No. There is no entry test or assessment to join. The course starts from BPM foundations and builds up to modelling, analysis and redesign, so learners at different levels can follow along comfortably.

Course Content

What topics does the BPM course cover?

The programme covers six modules: introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, business process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design, redesign and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

What is the BPM lifecycle?

The BPM lifecycle is the six-phase approach at the heart of the course: identify, model, analyse, design, implement and monitor or optimise processes. You learn to run it as an ongoing cycle, not a one-off project.

Will I learn BPMN 2.0 process modelling?

Yes. You learn to build clear BPMN 2.0 swimlane diagrams using events, gateways, tasks, pools and lanes, and to move from a verbal process description to a validated as-is and to-be model.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. The programme runs practical exercises throughout, including modelling processes from descriptions, analysing them for waste, and redesigning them by applying simplification, standardisation and automation principles.

How long is the training and what format is it in?

The course is delivered as an intensive programme totalling 8 hours, available as online (live virtual) instructor-led, classroom, or corporate onsite training. Materials and case studies support each module.
