Why Change Management Skills Are in Demand Across Spain

    Transformation Overload from EU Funds

Next Generation EU is pushing around 20 billion euros of digitalisation across Spanish organisations by August 2026, but many lack the structured change capability to land adoption at pace.

    CM-F&P builds structured change capability

    Digital Adoption Failure Risk

Spanish SMEs and enterprises invest heavily in new systems, yet without managing the people side, ERP and digital rollouts stall at low adoption and value leaks away.

CM-F&P drives adoption and value realisation

    Banking and Financial Restructuring

Consolidation across Spain's banks and insurers demands change leaders who can steer restructuring and new operating models while protecting employee engagement.

    CM-F&P builds change-leadership skills

    Green Transition Culture Change

Energy and utilities firms driving net-zero and decarbonisation programmes need culture and behaviour change embedded across the workforce, not just new processes.

    CM-F&P embeds lasting culture change

    Scarce Certified Change Talent

Spain's market is deep in project managers but thin in credentialed change practitioners, so certified professionals stand out to employers hiring for transformation.

CM-F&P makes certified practitioners stand out

    Resistance and Change Saturation

Concurrent changes overwhelm employees and fuel resistance. Organisations need practitioners skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication and building resilience.

    CM-F&P builds resistance-management skills

Change managers in Spain earn an average of around 65,812 euros, and certified practitioners stand out in a market thin on credentialed change talent.

    General

Is the Change Management certification worth it in Spain?

Yes. Change management is in strong demand across Spain as organisations absorb Next Generation EU funding and drive digital and green transformation. Change managers in Spain earn an average of around 65,812 euros, and certified practitioners stand out in a market thin on credentialed change talent.

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, dual-level qualification covering the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. Both levels align to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

Who should take this Change Management course?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR and OD practitioners, consultants and transformation leaders. Anyone responsible for helping people adopt new systems, processes or ways of working will benefit from the frameworks and practice this programme provides.

Do I need any prerequisites for the Foundation level?

No. Change Management Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, regardless of education or prior experience. The Practitioner exam requires you to hold the Foundation certification first, so the combined programme covers both in sequence.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and is especially well respected across the UK, Europe and Australia. It is valued by employers wherever organisational change management is a recognised professional discipline, including throughout Spain.

    Pricing

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training, CMBoK-aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both levels, plus learner support. Exam voucher inclusion can vary, so confirm the details when you enquire. Request a quote to see what your package covers.

How much does Change Management training cost in Spain?

Pricing in Spain varies by delivery format and whether you enrol individually or as a corporate group, so exact fees are available on request. Live virtual, classroom and corporate options are quoted separately. Talk to a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some options bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others quote them separately. Confirm what is included when you request your quote so there are no surprises.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, PMOs and HR functions. This is ideal for organisations building a consistent change approach. Ask about corporate or group pricing for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. A learning advisor can walk you through the options and help you choose the one that suits your budget.

    Exam

What is the format of the Change Management exams?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each (80 total) over 2.5 hours, open book, with a 50% pass mark (40 out of 80).

How many exams are in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. You must sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, to hold both credentials. The combined 40-hour programme prepares you for both, typically covering Foundation content first and Practitioner content after.

What is the passing score for each exam?

Both exams require 50% to pass. That is 25 out of 50 questions for Foundation and 40 out of 80 marks for Practitioner. Aim for broad mastery across all five topic areas rather than focusing narrowly on any one.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the five scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep model knowledge are both essential.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can prepare and re-sit the exam. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance designed to help you clear both the Foundation and Practitioner exams on your first attempt. Retake policies vary, so confirm the details when you enrol.

    Course Content

What will I learn in this Change Management course?

You will learn to lead the people side of change across five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management, at both knowledge and applied levels.

Which change models does the syllabus cover?

The syllabus covers a broad range of models, including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's three-step model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence model and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Which standard is the course aligned to?

The course is aligned to the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute, along with the official Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

Do I need prior experience to take the course?

No prior change management experience is required for the Foundation level, so beginners are welcome. The Practitioner level then builds applied, scenario-based skills, supported by case studies and practice so you can apply the models to real organisational change.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive CMBoK-aligned courseware, industry-driven case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, plus reference material for open-book Practitioner technique. These resources help you build both exam readiness and workplace capability.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the Change Management course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you would like help choosing the right option.

What training formats are available in Spain?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training. This lets you choose a format that fits your schedule, whether you are an individual learner or a team based anywhere in Spain.

How long is the training programme?

The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is delivered as 40 hours of instruction. The number of days depends on the schedule format, whether intensive full days or extended half-day sessions, so total hours stay the same across formats.

Can I reschedule or transfer my batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include the ability to attend the training twice. Contact our support team to arrange a change that works for you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled under our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment before you book.
