    What is the format of the IASSC Yellow Belt exam?

    The IASSC Yellow Belt exam has 60 questions, with up to 6 additional unscored questions on some forms. It is a closed-book exam of multiple-choice and true or false questions, completed within a two-hour allotted time, covering all five DMAIC phases.

    What score do I need to pass the exam?

    You need a minimum of 230 points out of 300 to pass the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt exam. Questions are distributed roughly evenly across the Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control phases.

    Are there prerequisites to sit the exam?
