    What is the format of the ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It is delivered online with proctoring or at an accredited test centre.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The ASM exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 90 minutes. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 correct answers out of 40 questions. Broad mastery across all five topic areas gives you the best chance of passing first time.

    What topics does the ASM exam cover?

    The exam covers five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking, the Scrum Master Role, Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control, Complex Projects, and Adopting Agile.

    How is the ASM exam delivered in the Dominican Republic?

    You can sit the ASM exam online with EXIN proctoring from home or office, or at an accredited test centre. Online proctored delivery makes it easy to take the exam from anywhere in the Dominican Republic.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    Course Content

    What will I learn in the ASM course?

    You will learn the agile mindset, the Scrum Master role and servant leadership, facilitating Scrum events, agile estimating and planning, scaling in complex projects, and driving agile adoption, all mapped to the EXIN syllabus.

    Do I need prior agile experience to join?

    No prior certification is required. EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge helps, but our trainers cover the Scrum fundamentals, so beginners and experienced professionals can both follow the programme comfortably.

    How long is the training?

    The Agile Scrum Master programme runs for around 16 hours, usually delivered over two full days or four half-days. Schedules are flexible to fit working professionals.

    Are there practice questions and mock tests?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, exercises and exam-style assessments aligned to the EXIN topic areas, helping you identify weak spots and build exam readiness.
