    How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam?

    The exam has 115 scored questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). Questions are distributed across the five risk domains defined in the current Examination Content Outline.

    What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

    Five domains, per the January 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

    What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement for each domain.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the exam?

    You need a secondary diploma with 36 months of project risk experience and 40 hours of risk education, or a four-year degree with 24 months of experience and 30 hours of education (12 months with a GAC-accredited degree). Experience must be within the last five years.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    You can sit the exam up to three times within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions so you can prepare thoroughly and go in ready.

    Do I need prior experience to attend the training?

    Anyone can attend the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires documented project risk management experience and education, and our team helps you check your eligibility before you apply.

    Does the course satisfy the PMI education requirement?

    The programme provides 32 contact hours of risk management education, which fully meets the 30-hour requirement for degree holders (Sets B and C). Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add supplementary study.
