    Is there an exam for the Primavera P6 course?

    How is learning assessed if there is no exam?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you work through practical exercises on realistic construction and capital-project scenarios, building a project, scheduling it, baselining it and updating progress, so you can apply the skills directly at work.

    What will I be able to do after the Fundamentals level?

    You will be able to navigate P6, build the EPS, OBS and WBS, create activities and relationships, run the scheduler, interpret the critical path and float, assign resources, set a baseline, update progress and produce basic layouts and reports.

    What will I be able to do after the Advanced level?

    You will be able to apply advanced scheduling options, cost-load and resource-load a schedule, calculate and report earned value (SPI, CPI, EAC), compare baselines with Claim Digger, manage multiple projects and build custom reports and Excel exports.

    Do I receive proof of completion?

    Yes. On completing each level you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning, recognising the practical Primavera P6 skills you have built during the training.

    Fundamentals covers the enterprise project structure, activity creation, relationships and scheduling, the critical path, resources, baselines and progress. Advanced adds resource and cost loading, earned value, baseline comparison and Claim Digger, multi-project control and custom reporting.

    Do I need prior experience to take the course?

    Fundamentals has no prerequisites and suits newcomers to P6; basic familiarity with project concepts helps but is not required. For Advanced, you should have completed Fundamentals or have equivalent hands-on Primavera P6 experience.

    Is the training hands-on or theory based?

    It is highly hands-on. You follow the trainer in Primavera P6 and complete exercises on realistic construction, engineering and capital-project scenarios, so you build genuine tool proficiency rather than just learn concepts.
