    What is the format of the IASSC Yellow Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book with multiple-choice and true or false questions, based on the IASSC Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge across the five DMAIC phases. It can be taken online with proctoring on demand or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The Yellow Belt exam has 60 questions with a two-hour allotted time. Some exam forms include up to six additional non-graded questions that do not count toward your score.

    What score do I need to pass the Yellow Belt exam?

    You need a minimum of 230 points out of 300 to pass. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control phases, so aim for solid awareness across all five.

    How and where do I take the exam?

    You can sit the exam online through the IASSC web-based proctoring system, available on demand, or at one of thousands of Pearson VUE test centres worldwide, including locations in Denmark. You purchase the voucher and schedule through orders.iassc.org.
