    General

What is Project Management Fundamentals training?

Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) training is a foundation-level course that teaches the essential principles, processes and tools of project management. Over two days you learn to plan, execute, monitor and close projects across the full lifecycle. It is practical, vendor-neutral and suits anyone whose work supports projects.

    Who should take this course?

The course is designed for aspiring project managers, team leaders, project coordinators, entry-level professionals and anyone whose work supports projects. It also helps experienced professionals refresh their fundamentals. No prior project management experience is required to join.

Is Project Management Fundamentals worth it in Czechia?

Yes. Czech employers across automotive, IT services, banking and EU-funded programmes value people who can run projects reliably, and skilled project talent is in short supply. The fundamentals apply immediately at work and give you a credible base to grow into project roles.

Do I need any prior experience or qualifications?

No. There are no prerequisites for the training. Some background in project management can help you get more from the material, but it is not required. The course takes complete beginners from first principles to confident understanding.

What makes this course different from a tool or method course?

This is a method-neutral fundamentals course, not tied to a single tool or framework. It covers predictive, Agile and business-analysis approaches so you understand the whole project lifecycle, rather than only one piece of it. That breadth makes it a strong first step before specialising.

    Pricing

How much does Project Management Fundamentals training cost in Czechia?

Pricing depends on the delivery format, live virtual or onsite, and whether you enrol as an individual or a group. Corporate and group rates are available. Contact us for current pricing and request a quote for your preferred format.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across the full five-module syllabus, course materials created by subject matter experts, hands-on exercises and a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Speak with a learning advisor to confirm what your chosen format includes.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with volume-based pricing and schedules built around your team's availability. It is ideal for upskilling coordinators, team leaders and mixed project teams. Ask about corporate pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and flexible options are available on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that best suits you or your organisation.

Is the price the same for online and onsite training?

Pricing can vary between live virtual and onsite corporate delivery, and by group size. Both formats cover the same two-day syllabus. Request a quote to compare options for your team in Czechia.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for this course?

No. Project Management Fundamentals is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on exercises and retrospective sessions rather than a formal test.

What will I receive on completing the course?

You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning recognising your learning achievement. The skills you gain apply immediately at work, do not expire, and there is nothing to renew.

    How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment or pass mark. Your understanding is built and reinforced through practical exercises, discussion and retrospective sessions during the two-day programme, so you leave able to apply the fundamentals.

Does this course lead to a certification?

Not directly. It is a foundation course rather than a certification. However, it gives you a strong base to go on and pursue recognised credentials such as CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2 when you are ready.

How long does the course take?

The training runs over two days (16 hours), covering five modules of project management fundamentals through lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises. It can also be delivered as four half-days for teams who prefer that schedule.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

The course covers five modules: project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the full project management cycle, and an Agile projects overview. Together they span the lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control and closure.

Can a complete beginner take this course?

Yes. The course is built for beginners and teaches project management from first principles, with no prior experience required. Hands-on exercises and discussion help you apply each concept, so newcomers finish confident and job-ready.

What delivery approaches will I learn?

You learn predictive (plan-based) methodologies and gain a working overview of Agile, including release planning and the Scrum process, plus an introduction to business-analysis frameworks. This helps you choose the right approach for each project.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive structured course materials created by subject matter experts, along with practical exercises and case-based activities. The training mixes lectures, interactive discussion and hands-on work to reinforce every topic.
